Clever, Stuart… clever. Two trips to the same league on back-to-back days. That’s the badge of North Eastern Metro Stars FC of the National Premier Leagues South Australia.

Personally, I think said circuit’s best badge belongs to Adelaide City Football Club. I mean, a kangaroo and a zebra in the same crest… what’s not to like?

With that name, I looked to see if they had any connection with the NY/NJ MetroStars, but no mention of any link in either wiki or the club's website. I did learn the team was the Metro Knights when they started in 1994 and changed to MetroStars in 1998.

Winner, winner ... couldn't resist this one when I found it yesterday. Crazy that there doesn't seem to be a connection with the NY/NJ MetroStars as the colors and fonts look similar.

Putting this here for lack of a better place. The context here is that the Rapids recently shifted their injury report from more detailed reporting to just listing injuries as "upper-body/lower-body". When somebody questioned why the Rapids trainer responded with this:

Now I'm skeptical, because the Rapids have always been very tight with injury details since Smith took over in 2017, and this isn't the first time they've shifted from detailed injury information to less detailed midway through a season. If there was really concern about injuries being targeted by other players, wouldn't you have started the season revealing less detailed information?

What’s deal with MLS/Gaming consortiums with regards to this? Can’t have them having the information and not releasing it. Unfair to the betting public.

    Thx,

    Jay!
