Guys how are you ??? Long loong time since my last post. The biggest match in I don't know how many years. Definitely all-or-nothing, zero-sum and etc. There are so many things on both sides of the scale. Clearly chasing Eternal Glory or we will have to start everything from 0 with loan players, free agents, a bad economic situation and so on and so on. I don't know what you think of this situation, but it reminds me of the situation maybe 10 years ago when we finished in sixth position and that summer top players were sold because of no European tournament at all. Hope that history won't be repeated.
To be honest. Sevilla are huge favourites, despite been a true dickheaded football team. I can't stand that club. From top to bottom: absolutely dog shit. Their pathetic performances in a shit Spanish league and their abysmal CL performances. A shit team that has only concentrated on winning the Europa League every season. No willingness to improve. Despicable behaviour for a person, let alone a football club. I say it's 80% chance that these dickheads win another Europa League on Wednesday. Mongo, this man along with Pallotta who deliberately fcuked this club up, that we are still recovering from. 99.9% of this forum, celebrated this twat face like a Messiah. Only me and very few others saw what shit this guy was putting us through. Not one of you had the dignity to apologize for your behaviour. That's why, for any true Romanista, it will be a nightmare if we are to see Mongo victorious on Wednesday. The only chance we have of winning. Is if Smalling and Dybala have the match of their careers. This team is so poor, we can only hope of scoring a goal and defending it with our lives.
Epic post lord Nelson. Good luck guys!! Had jube been in the final, certain roma victory but sevilla are the kings of this competition. Perhaps another 1-0 win and italy has 5 cl teams next year
Virgil and Homer never wrote anything as epic as that post. What Lord wrote should be required reading for Lit 101.
We're truly blessed to live at the same time as Lord Nelly and even more blessed that he graces us with his presence. His insight into the inner workings of the club and his fresh ideas about where it was and where it is headed is both phenomenal and inspiring.
Roma are more optimistic regarding Paulo Dybala’s availability from the start in tonight’s Europa League final in Budapest. According to Sky Sport, Dybala is now more likely to feature from the first minute. Despite Jose Mourinho’s initial scepticism regarding the Argentine’s status for tonight, Dybala’s conditions have improved and he now seems ready to contribute from the start for the Giallorossi. We’ll see…
Pretty much a make or break game for Roma that decides the next few years. A loss here probably means a full reset this summer with Dybala, Abraham and likely Mou gone. Likely some younger guys with value like Bove and Volpato will also be put on the market.
Seperate from any implications of winning or losing tonight, a young talent like Bove will not be put on the market....because that would be just daft. Bove will be a Roma player next season and probably for many years to come. Hate to say it, but Bove seems a great candidate for the dreaded and infamous Roma ACL curse! Volpato is a likely loan with option to buy/or dry loan candidate regardless of tonight. Tammy is a likely sell this summer if a big offer comes in, again regardless of tonight. If we win tonight, I imagine Mou is a definite stay. If we lose, that one might be up in the air. Same with Dybala.
Roma have a ton of debt and a squad with very little value outside of a few players. Anyone with any value will be up for sale. Bove will have some interest with his age and low salary. Or will be involved in a player swap since there’s no money. CL is a must or likely going to have an even worse team next season.
Roma are currently trading favs to win over 90 mins. Interesting market shift in the last day when Sevilla were the clear favourites. Probably linked to increasing optimism for a certain Argentine playing a part in the game.

Big call to start Dybala. He surely wont last the 90....much less 120 if it comes to it....so he wont be there for potential pens. But if he's truly fit enough...then you got to start him I guess and aim to win this in regulation time.
