Not that you’d know but why? For what? He wouldn’t be eligible for any youth national team tournament ever again. Why not do his u23 eligibility with the US and decide later.

He has 9 appearances in 3rd division Germany. So far it doesn't look like he will be challenging for a spot in the US.

Does he even need to switch to attend this camp and/or play in this tournament?

*Technically*, yes (at least for the matches). Any appearance, including friendlies (other than "unofficial" friendlies, which isn't really defined -- but would be, e.g., playing against an overage side, playing a pro team, allowing more than 6 subs, breaking the game into 1/3s, intrasquad matches) requires a switch.

That's why Mexico had to "forfeit" some U23 friendlies when Zendejas's case was decided by FIFA. There's no real penalty in most cases because no one complains (like with Dan Potts playing for the US or even Balogun playing for the U18s).

But as we have seen, no one really complains so no action ends up being taken.

During the Revs broadcast, Twellman said Noel Buck is on the radar for England's youth set-up.

I think Taylor is pimping him. I imagine he might get a call, and I love Buck, but like I said before, Jude Bellingham, guys. McFarlane got a camp; I'm sure Buck may get a camp.

I'd be far more worried about Wales in the long run.

Nico Carrera in camp with Mexico:

Nico Carrera (21) already wears the colors of the Mexican National Team. At the moment, he cannot play tournaments with El Tri because he participated in the U-17 World Cup with the United States.

After passing through FSV Zwickau, he will return to Holstein Kiel from the Bundesliga 2 who is the owner of his letter. It will be necessary to see if it is taken into account and receives more opportunities. They have him well valued and could be an important player for the future. ️

He has a contract until 2025.
