heck, bring on Stevie G, he has galaxy ties and has coaching experience, he will surely bring in the fans and probably be distraction enough to keep the attention off klein and company
Vanney has a point. We don’t want to confuse the players by flooding them with useful instruction. Clearly it’s better to stick with what’s not working since that is something we are familiar with and are really good at.
At this point, bring in Keano. Though maybe we probably wouldn't want to place this on him and ruin his coaching resume. He's too much a Gs legend.
I say, make a play for Bruce Arena! Our ownership is dumping tons of money in the salaries. Bruce would not let it go to waste. If not him, then Henry or steal Bob Bradley. I really just want Bruce back. Also, fire, everyone in the FO except the new guy we picked up.
I miss Keane so damn much. I miss being with him, I miss being near him. I miss his laugh. I miss his scent; I miss his musk. When this all gets sorted out, I think he and I should get an apartment together.
I suppose I'm alone on the Berhalter bandwagon? We're a better destination than Swansea, aren't we? Unless the assumption is the new coach would answer to Klein, I guess
With SKC suddenly getting their act together, this stink at the bottom resides on only one team right now….
I think this is the breakthrough to return to glory, hire a coach that Shelbo is unhappy with and watch the wins roll in, this has to work better compared to whatever aeg is doing
For those who want some change, any change, in the Galaxy, Anthony Hudson is leaving as interim HC of the USMNT for another opportunity. The USSF announces that Anthony Hudson has stepped down as #usmnt interim manager to take up a new opportunity. B.J. Callaghan will take over as interim manager of the US and lead the team through the Nations League and Gold Cup: https://t.co/XpNxBkhrnD— Jeff Carlisle (@JeffreyCarlisle) May 30, 2023 Hudson was 8-26-9 in two seasons with the Rapids. It could indeed get worse.
There are some decent options out there for us but as mentioned, the problem lies within Klein. So many manager changes under his tenure and yet nothing to show for it. I think Vanney needs to be sacked, but letting klein pick another manager is not the answer. Still would like to see Robbie Keane given the job. Hell try asking Berhalter, Marsch, or asking Toronto if we could snag Bradley off their hands.
Given recent developments.... Klein ********ed this season. If Vanney can get a playoff berth, I'm fine with him staying. I'm okay but not thrilled with him staying otherwise, but I can see giving him an off-season without Klein to build an actual team. There's no point in making a move anymore now, though, in my opinion. Even if the players all quit on him - changes are coming anyway, so let's make the right decision and not the quick decision.
