    We started alright and Pafundi has made some nice runs but too sloppy in transition. Too many turnovers in midfield. We also are a bit flat and getting muscled off some balls.

    Need more pace and urgency. Faticanti has been poor. Sloppy and slow from him. His last name is appropriate.

    Guarino can't lay down like that hoping for a foul. Nigerian striker got up and crossed it for the goal. I don't get why he subbed Pafundi who was playing fairly well in favor of Lipani

    The team looks dead tired. Who is in charge of conditioning? Typical Italians...beat Brazil...si montano la testa...and this lackluster performance. Now a goal off a goalkick that leads to a breakaway. LOL

    So Italy was on fire for 60 minutes against Brazil then have looked like crap for the last 120 minutes.

    They way they played against Nigeria, they don’t really deserve to make the second round.

    Typical Italy response and they are likely to miss the knockouts due to this. Completely crapped the bed against Nigeria especially witht he late second goal. Far too much talent to go out in the first round but here we are.

    now don't exaggerate, unfortunately physically they had a physical decline, but we are still in the race to qualify, the problem is that many players have little experience in football with the greats (see Guarino, Faticanti, Pafundi himself), add to this that many club teams are refused to give players (even Serie C teams and even Benfica's B team)

    Brazil is level on points with us and has a + 5 goal differential. My guess is they beat Nigeria by 1 or 2 goals (Nigeria will bunker down and play on the counter) Assuming that happens, Italy will have to beat DR by 4 to 5 goals which i don't see happening.

    Props to the U17 for winning 3-0 but they were eliminated as Spain tied with them

    If we win our last game we will qualify for sure, at least as one of the best 3rd placed!

    Great point! Forgot about the 3rd place qualifiers. We 100% need to beat DR the next game. I think we will

    The Dominican Republic lost to Nigeria only by a score of 2–1 in the opener but 6–0 to Brazil.

    I don’t know which Italy will show up the one who dominated Brazil or the one which fell flat against Nigeria but the U-20‘s should be able to beat DR soundly.

    If they can’t beat them, they deserve to be eliminated from the tournament.

    Well the fact is that our team collapsed from a physical point of view (at one point they couldn't go on), it must be said that we met a very strong player physically (even with some doubts about the real ages of the players) The Dominican Republic against of them he played defense and counterattack, while we played openly especially in the 1st half.

    Very good response by the boys today. Once again Casadei shines for Italy. He's the best player at this tournament and has been a terror on set pieces. Super aggressive at finding and scoring the ball in the box.

    Really liked this Montaverde kid from Samp as well. He's built like an absolute tank but is also athletic. He was robbed of an absolutely incredible goal as Baldanzi was ruled offside when he wasn't part of the play at all.

    On a down note we don't get Ghilardi who has been the anchor at CB this tournament. He's out against most likely England due to yellow accumulation

    The season of the Under 15 national team ends with a double friendly with Poland, which on Tuesday 30 May (at 12, live streaming on the FIGC website) and Thursday 1 June (at 11) will face the Polish players of the same age at the Federal Technical Center in Coverciano .

    There are 23 players born in 2008 called up by coach Massimiliano Favo for the gathering scheduled for the evening of Sunday 28 May, with the players from Rome and Juventus authorized to join the group at the end of the championship match which will see them face off on Monday 29 May. Three players who play for foreign clubs: Andrea Natali (Barcelona), Tryfose Jean Mambuku (Stade De Reims) and Giuseppe Josué Montorro (Bayer Leverkusen), the latter two on their first call-up to the national team like Roma striker Tancredi Vella.

    Fresh off second place in the Tournament of Nations in Gradisca d'Isonzo, Italy are keen to round off a year full of satisfactions in the best possible way, which saw them win the UEFA Development Tournament held in November in Portugal and reach a streak of seven consecutive successes, interrupted at the end of February with the double defeat at Spain.

    The list of summoned

    Goalkeepers: Matteo Farronato (Inter), Renato D'Autilia Widmer (Bologna);
    Defenders: Lorenzo Calvani (Lazio), Thomas Lissi (Inter), Mattia Marello (Udinese), Andrea Natali (Barcelona), Noah Leonardo Bovio (Inter), Matteo Palma (Udinese), Luca Reggiani (Sassuolo), Stefano Specker (Juventus) , Tryfose Jean Mambuku (Stade De Reims);
    Midfielders: Cristian Bagordo (Empoli), Benit Borasio (Juventus), Oliver Blini (Empoli), Christian Comotto (Milan), Paolo Ceppi (Juventus), Simone Lontani (Milan), Vincenzo Prisco (Napoli), Giuseppe Josué Montorro (Bayer Leverkusen );
    Forwards: Tancredi Vella (Roma), Thomas Campaniello (Empoli), Samuele Inacio (Atalanta), Edoardo Zanaga (Empoli);

    Diciamo che in questa nazionale U15 (2008) manca Francesco Camarda ormai promosso coi i 2007 e manca uno che secondo me è FORTISSIMO Iacopo Landi (2009) dell'Empoli

    you mean the U21 Championship? I can't imagine why. He'd be one of the best players there most likely. Would love to see Italy win that one of these times. We used to be the most successful nation in that tournament.
