I don't see Benzema playing more than 50-60% of the available games next year assuming there are attacking alternatives.

He was moving around in a wheel chair many games this year.

Competition is not blocking, and I honestly don't think there is any player available on the market that Rodrygo isn't better. Rotation between Vini, Rodrygo and said new player would be very welcome because I think Vini played way too many minutes this season.

So your saying we didn't had an attacking alternative this year? Like benching benzema and letting Rodrygo play instead in all the games where Benz was playing in a wheelchair isn't a better option?

The problem with benching Benzema and starting Rodrygo in many games is that then there are no bench attacking options leftover. It boggles my mind how people are concerned about minutes when Madrid had no where close to 6 attackers this year.

Either way you slice it, they need a good attacking option. And I mean an option that can start some games and rotate with Vini, Rodyrgo, Benz. Brahim, if he comes back, should be the 5th attacking option at most, and in a deep squad... there should be 6th semi-decent option not named Hazard.

Fran Garcia, Bellingham, Firmino is probably the best and most realistic scenario for this summer. Fingers crossed.

I would take Bernardo as a top RW option over signing Kane or Firmino, only because Mbappe maaaaaay be a possibility in 2024, and we don't need a complete change of system to accommodate 2 strikers. If we aren't getting a Bernardo level RW, then Kane or Firmino would be decent alternatives. We do need a RW either way if Asensio is leaving.

That will be a perfect buying/new addition list, but the reason firminho didn't extend inLiverpool is playing time. He's not getting that here while Benz is here.

And BTW, this is not me saying Benz is "bad" for wanting to play. Far from it.
any player wants to start every game.
The "bad" here are the people who don't have the balls to tell him that he can't start every game and that if he plays bad, he'll be benched.

He doesn't. He only played about 60% of the games.

In January 2024 he will be free to negotiate and sign pre-agreement with RM.

Which his mother and co. would likely use to get even more money. We've all seen this movie before.

We will see. This is his last shot at RM. He gave himself the optionality to get paid by QSG right before a QSG bought and paid for WC but also get out of the deal ASAP.

He’s slipping down the world pecking order in terms of influence even after almost single handedly saving France in a WC. He’s realistically behind Haaland and likely Vinny now and playing in France doesn’t change that.

I think he’s at RM next summer but we can’t bank on it when we make plans this summer

I think he will leave PSG next summer as well, but his new club could depend on whether Qatar gets Man Utd or not.

I agree; he's as money-hungry as they come. He never cared about being a global superstar like Messi or Ronaldo. He just wants to promote his personal brand and milk clubs for as much money as possible.

People now just care about Instagram and social media more than anything else. A few years ago, I would have said Mbappé needs to leave French football to become a household name, but he can do that easily at PSG and already has. From a footballing perspective, he'll leave a lot to be desired unless PSG win the Champions League, but still has that as well as the international competitions to shine.

As a football fan, it would be sad to see him remain in the French league, but he can achieve all he wants (money, fame and social influence) by staying at PSG.

I can see one of the oil clubs offering stupid money and him using that to ask for some stupid money here. If we pay, he comes. If not, Newcastle, City or United it is.

Nah he is a Sheikh's booty now. He will be traded with other sheikdoms like the piece of ass that he is. I totally see him shipped to Utd to revive the Manchester derby and create that Mbappe-Haaland rivalry.

Jeeezzz, time to move on from Mbappe and man up.
If he comes, it should be on his hands and knees.
People need to stop daydreaming, Madrid isn't the financial football juggernaut it used to be.

Even if he comes, would it be worth crippling the club's finances for years to come? I don't think so.
