So the manager (Potter) took over the team once the manager [Thomas] has already completely fcucked up and destroyed this season in a spectacular fashion.

Nobody really cares about the interim manager. Because he was always an interim manager. You understand what 'interim' means? ie A manager given only a small percentage of a season (Potter)!

The owners were happy to let Frank finish the season.. BUT Frank has been so fcucking bad that we were lucky that Potter had amassed enough points before hand to stop us being relegated!

Alternatively the fact that 4 different managers managed this team and none of them got a 'tune' out of it we can lay the blame where it needs to be layed!

LOL Potter was hired as a Permanent manager - -- Frank was hired as an interim manager. You clearly struggle to understand and comprehend, but hey I hope you have a great summer. Read some books. Broaden your horizons. Steer clear of the Daily Mail.

However he was hired the fact is he was an interim! They all were, they all failed to get a tune out of the team, poor Frank won ONE of twelve, that's a win percentage of less than 10%. If we had that form all year we would have been relegated before the season ended. Perhaps, just perhaps the managers aren't to blame?

    And I quote:-

"In truth, Chelsea have barely resembled a functioning team since a run of three wins under Graham Potter at the start of March, with Frank Lampard unable to inspire any kind of turnaround since returning to the club.

Instead, Lampard has openly questioned his players' effort levels in both training and matches as they have gone through the motions, counting down the days until a season that nobody saw coming finally ends."

Potter was Hired on a 5 year contract. Even Poch is only on a 3 year contract.

Potter was hired for the long-term on a 5 year contract. All Potter had to do was 'not be totally sh1t' and he would still have the Chelsea job.

Alas, he couldn't reach those dizzying heights.

He may well have been hired on a 5 year contract but he got 31 games! 31 games where not once did he get to chose anything like the best team he had, 31 games is 'interim', Fact is Chelsea were sh*t before he was hired and Chelsea were even more sh*t when he left, that is a fact and that says it all and that you simply cannot argue against.

12 months ago we finished 3rd in League and were defending Champions of the CL and world, I now dream of being such shit.

Potter was a ffuuuccckkkiiinnnggg disaster, he had a deeper more talented team than season before (if too big) and never beat a team higher in the standings I think.
Brighton never scored with him though did 1/3 of w's, l's d's. DeZerbi came in and Brighton scored and set records for scoring, wins, points, placement and are now in Europe.

Potter was ffuuuccckkkiiinnnggg shhiiitttee. but somehow it is all Lamp's fault for not beating the Top 5, yet we lost over 20+ matches before Lamp "ruined" the team:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Lamp did nothing to improve our record, in a handful of matches, but that does not negate that Potter was a:

I think pooch is way overrated but he is at least semi+or more-competent so bound to do exponentially better than potter, what passes for hope past potter

12 months ago!? 12 months ago Leicester City finished 8th, 12 months ago is irrelevant, lets hope that 12 months from now we can say the same! People like yourself promised us that Potter was the problem, and yet since he left we've been A LOT worse! That's not an opinion, its a statistical FACT.........how daft do you feel now? Maybe.......just maybe our issues aren't simply 'the manager'! Southampton, Leicester and Leeds ALL 'blamed their managers' for their demise, they all chopped and changed themselves too, they've all been rewarded with Championship football next season! Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth realise that the issues weren't the managers fault and kept faith with them despite both clubs looking like 'hopeless cases' for nearly all of the season - both will be playing Premier League football next season.
