Considering you lost a semi final vs braga (the wonders of non benfica socio refs) in europa league im sure that trauma made you forget the names.

I watched Turn of the Tide on Netflix with a cigar in my mouth last night with my vintage benfica jersey on. I felt like i was the King of Portugal.

This morning my new cow arrived on my Alberta farm. I named him Roger in honor of the Great Roger Schmidt.

    MOURINHO CAGOUUUUU

Over-glorified players coach with horrible tactics. It's the same garbage with all of his teams. Such a horrible watch.

Kinda glad he turned his back on the national team. Bye.

Sevilla was in a relegation battle just a few months ago and were the better team in that final. Period.

    It's their tournament.

In fairness his team is absolute shit this time, so the tactics make sense.

Hilarious how patricio is called for encroachment, yet that fukface Beto came 5 feet off his line for every pk against benfica and it was never called

He had an easy path to the final, just like he did with Man Utd.

Mourinho was given over 100m to spend on signings, Sevilla's coach was given nothing and turned around a team that was fighting relegation. Their manager is impressive.

Yeah, we were robbed way back then but i still think Sevilla would have won on PK's against Roma even if that penalty was not retaken.

Genius Mourinho subbed off Dybala & Spinazolla who are very good at PK's. It's no wonder Mou has such a horrible record with PK's.

Yeah the squad depth stinks and they have had injuries to their best players. Dybala wasn't expected to play.

And Beto got away with getting off the line cause there was no VAR

keep making excuses for that manager just because he is Portuguese.

    that’s not how I work.

he is a lame manager. Everyone knows it.

Like I said, if his team sucks that’s his fault. He spent over 100m. Sevilla had no money to spend and was in a relegation battle several weeks ago. Instead of making excuses for Mou, congratulate Sevillas manager.

I don’t think VAR was needed to see how blatantly off the line Beto was. To this day, it’s one of the most mind boggling things I have ever witnessed a team get away with. But whatever, it was a long time ago and Benfica has its sights on the champions league trophy now.

Spending 100 million is peanuts when you join a team that has absolutely no solid pieces to begin with. Just take a look at the signings made, that 100m is spread out over numerous players in hopes of unveiling hidden gems. If the team already had a good foundation with 4-5 top players, the 100 millionn could be spend on 2-3 players to strengthen the appropiate positions. Take a look at Guardiola for instance, he joins teams that already have world class starting elevens, and then proceeds to spend an addition 300 million every season to strengthen it.

What is your opinions of Allegri and Ten Hag given that they also lost to relegation level Sevilla?

Chelsea had a good foundation and high spending capabilities when Mou was there and he almost got them relegated. He got sacked and then they started doing well again....Ever hear of a 'world class' manager almost getting a team like that relegated?

When you pit Roma against Sevilla this season, Roma has the advantage no matter which way you try and spin it. If the players you spend money on do not work out, the manager has to take responsibility. He was even fortunate enough to get some solid free transfers. Mou has had more time and money than Jose Mendilibar and if Mou such a world class manager, he should have put something on display in that final worth watching or if you are going to play the pathetic way his team did, at least pull out a result but thats the issue with him, he is not a world class manager. He is as average as they come and it's time some of you come to terms with this.

Allegri and Ten Hag are not looked at as 'World Class' managers.

Guardiola is the greatest manager to walk this planet. Whenever he joins a team with money, they always become better than they were. When other managers join teams with money, they eventually falter. That's the difference. Not pep. He is special.

    Our Champion on Saturday.

Yes I have heard of world class managers almost getting teams relegated. Klopp almost got Dortmund relegated in his final season,. Ancelotti had Everton battling relegation, a team who has never been relegated.

So let me get this straight, the man who joined a bayern team who won the TREBLE in the season prior to joining....made that team better despite never once winning the cl with them or even making the final.....riiiiight.

No manager has ever been backed as much as he has. He joined a City team that already had KDB, Kompany, Sterling, Aguero, David Silva, Fernandinho, and Otamendi,.and then in his first summer window spent 170 million. Despite that, he won no trophies in that season, went out in the round of 16 of the cl (they were semi finalists in the previous season), and finished third in the league......BEHIND Tottenham. After that disaster of a season, this guy then gets to spend an addition 267 million for the following season. With all these investments, he still goes on to lose to liverpool in the CL qf. The following season, he loses to Tottenham in the CL quarter finals. All these resources, and this man gets cucked by Spurs.

Las Vegas gonna win the cup.

The Oilers have lost to the eventual Stanley Cup Champions again.

Florida are a fluke. They are basically Inter.

    The west is the best

Beating the best nhl regular season team of all time, then winning 4-1 and 4-0 is a fluke how?

Florida will still win this series

Teams that do amazing like Boston did in the regular season almost always choke in the playoffs. It’s a well known fact. It’s a psychological thing with those teams. The pressure is too much. They almost always slip sooner rather than later in the playoffs.

Beating the Leafs? Easy. The Panthers got to face a team that haven’t played a second round playoff series in ages. The Leafs had no experience as a team going that deep. The Leafs had no idea what to do once they got out of the first round. They were lost.

The Canes? Injuries. An above average team that over achieved.

The Panthers do not have the depth the Knights have. Panthers have a weak D on the left and it was exposed all game. It may get ugly later on because the Knights are a very good road team.

Whoever beats the Oilers wins the cup. It’s going to happen again this year and it will keep happening until the Oilers win the cup. This is the learning process my team must go through until we win which will be very soon. The hockey gods are doing this. If you can beat us, you already won because no team in the east is better than the Oilers. We even beat Boston in Boston during the regular season.
