To be honest, if someone asked me to name one good thing about Arkansas (but not include political figures), I would be completely stumped. I can't think of a single thing about Arkansas that I would consider positive. I'm sure there is something, but I've never been there and everything I've seen and heard makes me never ever want to visit.

But those are mostly people from Arkansas, not Arkansas itself as a state. That said, I had no idea Glen Campbell or Johnny Cash were from there.

 

I remember seeing a couple guys carrying Cash out the back door of a Little Rock nightclub back in '57!

 

After a lot of thought I acknowledge there are a lot of Pacific Islanders who live in northwest Arkansas, so that's good - right? But those people - giving up a life in the Pacific Islands surrounded by turquoise lagoons and a relaxed lifestyle for Arkansas? It's hard for me to think of something worse. How is that not Hell for them?

 

Again, not "moving" to a state because someone famous comes from there! What does the state itself have to offer? So far we have the Ozarks and diamond mines.

 

They grow a lot of rice in Arkansas.
