I stand corrected on nothing having been done with the racist incidents over the last few years.

    - Valladolid suspended season tickets for 10 holders for 4 years and they can't enter the stadium. Note that R9 is owner of the club.
    - Mallorca - a fan had to pay a 4k fine and can't enter the stadium for 3 years. The fan wasn't identified initially when he insulted Vinnie but was when 13 days later he insulted a Villarreal player.

That's 2 out of 10 reported incidents punished (one with the initiative of the club). The others are either under investigation or have been closed with no identification possible (including one that happened at Camp Nou).

The "interesting" one is the one that happened at Atletico. The justice system said it didn't consider the chant to morally damage the player since it lasted for a few seconds outside the stadium and happened under the heat of a rivalry where all sorts insults are thrown around which is to be expected. So the case was archived.

RFEF in damage control mode. Valencia has been handed a fine and a portion of the stands where the racist abuse occurred will be closed for 5 games. So apparently RFEF can do something about it.

The red card to Vinni has also been rescinded as the VAR very conveniently only showed the portion of the incident where Vinni threw his arm at Duro's face to the ref removing the part where Duro had Vinni on a choke hold from the back for various seconds.

Tebas, while handling the situation horribly by antagonizing all of these incidents, is actually right from what I've seen that there is only so much him and La Liga can do. At the end of the day, it seems like it's up to the Justice system and RFEF.

Smh Atleti! How do you blow a 3-0 lead against Espanyol?

All the teams near the bottom are picking up points like crazy, also Real Sociedad cuz they want to secure top 4.

    Everyone else on vacay. :barefoot:

I know It is BVB fault but man I hate teams like Mainz. They have nothing to play for at the end of the season - they even lose games easily - but they play like their lives depended on if the other team needs a result

That is why I am hoping Everton goes down. For many many years they were that team

BVB pull one back. But they need the win since Bayern hold the goal difference tie breaker. A BVB draw right now would leave both teams level on points.

Bayern win the league. Dortmund have one of biggest bottle job ever.

Remind me of Liga from 1992-94 when we won. Real and Deportivo also bottled so hard in final day.

Or that BVB would bottle it, rather. Such a darn shame. Would have been a dream come-back scenario for Haller. Unfortunately he missed a penalty early on too that could have changed their fortunes. Instead of 1-1 it became 2-0 and the rest is history. Smh.

This was a rare opportunity for them to win the league from a struggling Bayern. Probably won’t get an opportunity like this again for now.

That is 11 Bundesliga titles in a row for Bayern. At some point the product just becomes boring. Even PSG hasn't been able to string such a streak in Ligue 1. They have 9 in 11. Juve had 9 at some point.

In Bundesliga 2, Hamburger SV won their game and thought they had gained promotion as their direct competitor Heindenheim were losing in injury time. Fans invaded the pitch celebrating but Heidenheim pulled a Man City and scored 2 goals to leapfrog into the top promotion spot as Hamburger got bumped down out of it.

This isn't the best video as Hamburger fans were on pitch a little while before they heard the news as I understand it. Talk about having to put the cork back in the Champagne bottle.

The top two are promoted; the third goes to the relegation playoff vs 16th place of the Bundesliga, Stuttgart.

I think Belgium have a similar system. Do you think it's fair to give that 16th team a shot again for survival? They've been pretty ass this year.
