Still can’t believe he’ll be ending up with a one goal season (unless something miraculous happens).

Considering the first half of the season he was playing right back right?

I'm hoping he leaves the Premier League altogether.

Shame on Lampard for not letting Pulisic get final minutes with a club he helped qualify for CL and win it. Hope Frank enjoys his permanent rep as a crap manager and goes back to talksport to Skysport....

He likely saved him from getting the McKennie treatment today.

I actually don’t think the Chelsea fans would have booed Pulisic. I shouldn’t be, but I have to say I’m shocked that Lampard couldn’t even have the decency to give him some minutes in his final game with the club. Truly shameful.

He’s left some memorable goals on the table throughout his career by failing to take some very good chances.

I'm glad he didn't start to get subbed around the 60' mark for a final fan ovation.

You obviously don't read their social media.

Yes, I do. But their Twitter followers are typically worse than the match going fans. Also, from what I’ve seen, most of their fans are just happy for him to move on, and wouldn’t have a problem with him having some farewell minutes.

You obviously read way too much social media.

We've become desensitized. We're so used to fans hating our guys, we think what they say about Puli is not that bad.

He came in with a bang and left with a whimper. This will be a very interesting summer for our Yanks abroad.
Unfortunately for them/us, most of them have had their stock value decrease….

No kidding. When was the last time we had so many core Yanks Abroad have a potentially consequential move simultaneously? Wes, Tyler, Pulisic, Reyna, Musah, Dest…(insert here)

He got the #10 to be the replacement to Hazard. How often do you see a #10 never starting when he's healthy?

That's the issue. Not that he was poor (he wasn't, at least not always). but the massive gap between what was expected of him and what he provided for the team.

From a fan POV the "syle" of the move is often the problem. Demps the alleged "replacement" for vdVaart, Pulisic for Hazard (and plenty non-yanks at various clubs over the years) but the fan-assessment is rarely the next-technical-director-coach-board-whoever-is-buying-you assessement.

    Shameful?
    I'm a bit confused because:
    a. CP may go or he may stay.
    b. CP played at the end of the game.

    Am I missing something?

I posted that before he got on. When we got to the 85’ minute without seeing him, I admittedly jumped the gun and assumed he wouldn’t be getting minutes. I’m not sure I feel that much better about the 4 minutes he did get, but you’re correct that my post was in error.

And I don’t think anyone believes Pulisic will be playing for Chelsea next year. Every report I’ve seen says Chelsea wants to sell him, and he wants to leave to get more playing time. I certainly hope he doesn’t end up back with Chelsea to spend another year mostly sitting on the bench.

He was a time-wasting sub at the 88' mark. The good thing is that he left the field with everybody else.

A good individual first season then backwards after that. Won one major trophy but he was a bit part player for it.

Dunno why people ITT expected a big send off. Drogba or Lampard he was not.

A big club doesn't let a big money signing walk away on a free at 24 without even trying to retain them unless they didn't live up to anything like expectations.

nothing like Frank wasting time at home with a 1-1 draw to close out a crap season.

yep that is a good gaffer.

Some posters are hoping for poor transfer options for YAs in order to confirm their beliefs about quality.

Others are hoping for options that expand opportunities for current and future YAs.

I'm hoping to get to follow a few - but not too many - interesting new clubs/leagues. I want some goldilocks transfers.

NUFC will need more depth. Dunno if CP is really in the cards, but they can't keep playing in this crowd without a fatter squad.
