OMG thats not true. Kevin van veen could overcome Kyogo today when he scored 4,when he scored 3 he is even.

And of course he couldnt give up like Shankland and scored directly after 5 minutes.

Shankland and Van Veen are soooo incredible medicore players, normaly never score much. Really hope not that he scored more.

I am sure next season they will go both back to his ususal 5-10 goal stuff.

Yes!!!! There it is, Kyogo Furuhashi is the 1st. japanese top goalscorer in Europe. Congratulations!!!

For me its something like Japan is winning the world cup. Its maybe the biggest historical achievement for the japanese football till now. Even its "only" the scottish league.

He is top goalscorer, player of the year and player of the season.

Im glad you are happy hehe.
But dont compare to winning the wc hehe

Maybe if it was the premier league he scored 30 goals and won in.

If he and Hatate represent Japan at the World Cup in North America...maybe winning the World Cup can happen.

Overjoyed for Kyogo. Maybe Haaland has a poor next season, and Kyogo can be Europe's top scorer.

Dont get me wrong. I dont want to say top scorer is the same as winning the wc ^^. I only say that Kyogo got something no japanese player till now ever reach. And thats football history. And for me personal its one of the biggest archievements and goes into the same direction as winning the world cup as a team. Not that its nearly the same from worth.

Hope you know what I mean now ^^

I'm happy but I really would like to see him leave Celtic now, to be honest.

Looks like Tottenham sign Furuhashi for 30 Million. Celtic coach said they are in negotiations and that Tottenham is really willing to pay that money.

I would say its a good move to a good club who is struggling a little this season. Tottenham need fresh blood and maybe Kyogo can be the injection. He would play good together with Son I would say. But question is, do they want Furuhashi for mainstriker, as a re placement for Harry Kane? Or do they want him as a sub or play out of position?

In general I think Kane out Kyogo in would be a brilliant move for Tottenham. Not that Kyogo is as good as Kane. But Kyogo is a fast and intelligent player with a awesome movement for second Balls and goal situations. And Harry Kane is not that fast. This change would totaly change Tottenhams playstile to something like Brightons furious attacking style.

Maybe they want remake that Crouch + Lennon duo aka the Tall + the Short aka Dumb and Dumber. Sorry, bad joke.
Anyway the last thing I wanna see is Furuhashi as a sub. Stay away from whichever club don't give him a starter spot.

Sorry I missread it ^^. Yes Tottenham want Furuhashi but they also want Postecoglou for coach and they are already in talkings.

That would be the best and coolest move ever. Please let this happen.

Would Furuhashi qualify for an English work permit? He doesn't have many recent caps for Japan.

I don't think Tottenham said anything about Furuhashi, they just wanted Postecoglou and then the rumor on Furuhashi started...

It seems Tottenham want to rid Kane and change their style.

It doesnt sound like a maybe rumour when sources said they are allready in talks about Kyogo and that he is a dream candidate for them, but lets see.

By the way Postecoglou said by himself, when he gets the job at Tottenham, he will try all to bring Furuhashi with him.

Tottenham also said they want Postecoglou as a coach cause he is good and an extra would be to get Kyogo easier/cheaper.

So its not only a rumour.

Fine if the same coach will move there.
I hope Postecoglou will not be sacked if he will fail the begginning of the season or this will mean Kyogo being dropped at the same time and waste an half of a season waiting for winter transfer window in loan to some weak EPL club.

I do not believe Kyogo would be first choice at Tottenham. There'd just be too much uproar over replacing Kane with someone whom the fans think of as inferior. Levy has been known to pressure managers into certain decisions. Kyogo wants to cement himself in the JNT, and he'll want steady playing time and a good atmosphere in the club.

If he must go, he should hope Real Betis or Sociedad come.

If Postecoglou goes then he'll take Kyogo with him, so that means Kyogo most definitely won't be a sub, Ange has stated many times that Kyogo can play at the highest level, and they have a wonderful relationship. I wonder if he will try to take hatate as well. I also wonder if he'll continue his policy of raiding underrated markets like Japan while he's at Tottenham, as because he'll have so much more funds he might not have to do that. I'd love to see a similar thing at Tottenham but obviously the level is far higher and he'll have so much more money to play with, I don't think you'll see Tottenham spending a million pounds on a Maeda from the J league.

Why you guys keep talking about Tottenham so high? They are not on the same level of Chelsea, Arsenal or even this ruined United. They had their dream season finished with the UCL final but this will never happen again. They not even qualify for Conference League this season, they can't act like a Top Club because they are not.
If you think about it they lost to Milan in UCL Final16, the same Milan that will field Kamada as a starter in the next season. Is Furuhashi not at that level? Are you joking?

He might look at Kyoto or Hatate, he won’t dive into the Japanese market at Tottenham unless there’s some amazing Japanese prodigy. I think he may target Mitoma in the future depending how well Ange does at Spurs. He has always been a fan of him and wanted him at Celtic before joining Brighton

Their fans think they are at a high level. If Furuhashi is signed by Postecoglou, they will go nuclear. Stupid reaction, but this is what I think they will do.

Then feck off those dumb North london rednecks.
They won 2 EPL in their whole story. TWO. Kyogo alone won half of their titles lol.
Anyway he will face an higer level but with higher mates too. Hope he will keep scoring against british ridicolous defences.
