Sure, not like he could tell a teammate or two to help him out for a cut of the winnings as a tax-free "gift".

Sorry, betting against your team even when you aren't playing is wrong and shameful.

I'm sorry is this the same guy who yells at our players from milking a foul and then it turns out that seriously injured and torna ligament and doesn't say I'll put his hands up like I was wrong for that.

Don't trip getting down off that high horse.

Obviously it's an addiction that he and she alone has an like every other addiction is going to need help. Addictions that aren't related to drugs are harder for people to see and sympathize with but they're just as real and just as crippling

Damn right I'm the guy that rips our players for milking fouls. Everyone should call them out.

As for Antony being seriously injured, when the game was going, we never got any kind of word on what the injury was, stretchered off or not. As of now. All I've heard is he might be out for a couple months.

As for betting being an addiction, I was responding to him saying there's nothing wrong with betting against your team when you aren't playing despite having the ability to influence the match by cutting someone else in on the winnings of they play along.

I made the obvious call that if you're going to get caught betting on games, the only way that is even remotely defensible is if you're always betting to win. I'm not backing down from that.

so being out for a couple months isn't serious to you?

That depends. If it's a sprained ankle, that's not so serious. If it's a torn ligament or something, that's serious.

    I’ll be interested to
Yes he could affect the games. He has close relationships with the players in those games. I’m not saying he told them to throw the games, that’s very unlikely, but he could have.

If you’re a professional athlete you can’t be betting on the sport you play at the very least.

You are doubling down on a shaky position here. For a pro, injuries and risk of missing games is serious. Some more serious but serious indeed.

Agreed on the other point. Don't bet on your games. Heck don't bet on any comp you play in or could play in. Doesn't matter if he is playing in those games or not. Need to be above board in appearance and in fact.

today's relegation showdown is probably going to be like the Bundesliga race yesterday.

who bottles it less. i'd be surprised if any of the 3 teams won

Leeds a losing to Spurs who are hoping for a Conference League place, but Villa has a commanding 2-0 lead over Brighton and should secure 7th place. As it stand Villa are in Europe and Leeds in championship next season.

Everton and Leicester games are very tense, but Everton getting chances. Leicester just scored though. As it stands Everton going down.

Leicester won. Another 2-3 minutes left in Everton game, but they get it across the line.

Can't feel too bad for Leicester. They had a good run in the EPL and a league title.

Everton survive once more. The good thing is we won't get linked to Pickford anymore.

Got another - so he made it 30 EPL goals again.

Pretty impressive considering how all over the place Spurs have been.

Still wouldnt blow our budget on him though (which is probably what it would take).
