Darmstadt actually end up winning the title based on goal differential, if results stand. Nonetheless, Furth was excellent today and Green was outstanding. A goal and two “hockey” assists. It’s been a really good season for Green personally. Furth has been up and down but they are young and could be positioned nicely to make a promotion run next season, according to the match commentator.

If Julian were 15% faster and 30% stronger, he'd be a very good player, as in Reyna level. He has a good shot, clear vision, and is actually smart. The last is rare among our YsA.
He has always had one of the best long-distance shots in the USMNT pool. He's scored off that simple move for SpVGG a number of times. I've always felt he should have scored more club goals on dead balls, but his career has been cielinged by the fact that he is just not quite a top-tier athlete

It's worth noting that, at 28 years old, Julian has never been out of contract (if he has, it's never been for more than a few weeks in the close season). Not too many of his fellow Bayern II players from 2015 or 2016 can say that. If they're still playing pro football at all, that is.
