Looks to be playing RCB in a 3-4-3 for Furth. Played decently thus far.

Dietz has received nice praise from the match commentator on his play (racially his passing range) mentioning it was a nice surprise given that he’s a midfielder by trade. Agreed. He’s played solidly and played simple and smart as a RCB in a 3-4-3. And mostly importantly is pitching a shutout, currently winning 4-0, and if results stand prevent Darmstadt from winning the 2nd BL title. Memorable first start for Deitz.

Looks like Darmstadt will win the 2.BL title, despite a 4-0 loss.

Actually, Heidenheim would win on GD if they were to win their match.

ETA: Sounds like Heidenheim has gone ahead 3-2 very late.

Holy crap! Heidenheim just scored in 10+ minutes of stoppage time! Woah.

just another reason the German 2nd Bundesliga is the top second division is as unpredictable and crazy as it gets!

Darmstadt gets promoted, but doesn't win the 2.BL title (probably well deserved that they don't win).

Plays 90' and helps earn a shutout draw with St Pauli. Good stats on the day, appears to have been on the right of a three man backline.

Any one watched him? We’re so thin at center backs for the u23 team, he could just walk in.

Not making anyone's team of the week this week. Started yesterday - second minute yellow, off in a double sub in the 34th minute already trailing 2-0. At least the double sub makes me hopeful it was a tactical change and not entirely a performance-based yanking.

Starts and plays the full match in a 3-1 loss, getting a match-low 5.7 from FotMob. Don't know why yet.

Dietz gets the start in the Frankenderby, along with Julian Green, and against Nene Brown. On ESPN+ for your viewing pleasure.

Could one of you that has a better handle on European Football tell me where you would slot Bund II in comparison to MLS and the Belgium league.

    Happy to step in here.

Bundesliga II is physically located in Germany which is similar to the Belgium League in that it is on the European continent but different than MLS which is in North America.
