Muller must be part of the national team again, he has to, we don't have anyone of his nouse, movement and personality, if loew doesn't pick him then loew needs to be sacked
Maybe Florian Muller will get called up to the NT next week. His time to shine lol. Seriously though Thomas Muller is too good, he HAS to be called up, it would be crazy for Germany to go to the Euros without him. Which other national coach in the world other then Low would leave out such a player and leader?
Florian Muller needs to be declared Mainz #1 1st. Younger, more potential and more skilled than Zentner but less charisma than his rival.
If Muller, Neuer, and Boateng can win another treble, they'll be 1st players to ever win 3 trebles. The Barca gang are tied with Bayern at 2 trebles. lets hope it happens at some point before Boa/Neuer are done with Bayern.
Thomas Müller has scored in some of football's biggest thrashings 2009: Bayern 12-1 Sporting (1) 2010: Germany 4-0 Argentina (1) 2013: Bayern 7-0 Barcelona (3) 2014: Germany 7-1 Brazil (1) 2014: Bayern 7-1 Roma (1) 2017: Bayern 10-2 Arsenal (1) 2020: Bayern 8-2 Barcelona (2) Here are some more Thomas Müller-inspired thrashings: 2010: Germany 4-1 England (2) 2012: Bayern 7-1 Basel (1) 2014: Germany 4-0 Portugal (3) 2015: Bayern 7-0 Shakhtar (2) 2015: Bayern 5-1 Arsenal (2) 2018: Bayern 8-1 Besiktas (2) https://twitter.com/BavarianTweets

It's interesting to reflect on the course of events in Thomas Mueller's career, which can sometimes be enigmatic and look like a rollercoaster. Quite the contrast when comparing the loss to England yesterday to the match up in the Round of 16 in the 2010 World Cup. Where Mueller bagged a brace as Germany beat up on England 4-1. In my mind, that's still one of the first major matches earlier in Mueller's career where he "first arrived" on the big stage. In some ways, I think people back then started looking at him as a player who can follow in the footsteps of Miroslav Klose. To be the clutch scorer who can deliver for the NT during international tournaments. And he was well on his way to almost mirror Klose's scoring pace during WC's after his first two. But from approximately 2016 and onwards, it started to unravel the rest of the way in terms of his NT impact. He's never really been a performer in the Euros, and by the time 2018 rolled in the Loew era dramatically declined. Which in turn also caused the fall out between Loew and Mueller up until now. In some ways he's been a lucky or fortunate player, having benefitted playing alongside the likes of Klose, Schweini, Lewandowski, etc and growing up in a Bayern and Mannschaft environment where he's embraced as "one of the bros" during most of his time. And someone's who's won the highest of the highs for club and country. He'll go down as one of the greats. Perhaps not in the conventional way as some legends in the past. But Mueller is his own unique character. It's bit of a shame about the big miss he had yesterday and not scoring ever in the Euros taints his resume a bit. But I think overall he's just a player that needs to be appreciated for who he is. The role and position of Raumdeuter that he basically stylized after himself.
If Flick can find a target man and play Muller behind him he will shine in 2022 World Cup for Germany…
I disagree. I love Mueller but his time is up. By no means he is a bad player, but everyone has it shelf life. I know how Bayern fans perceive Mueller as half deity, even saying he is by far the best player during Portugal match. And every NT match, Mueller is flawless while everyone else especially Loew is always the culprit. I'm not saying he is a bad player, but his time is up. He is not bad, but he is not better than De Bruyne as well, which a view that up to this moment lots of Bayern fans believe.
Mullers been a great servant for German football but I believe it's time Germany moved on. We've got excellent players in the forward areas who just need CLARITY. For these players to perform it's paramount we have a proper number 9 at the helm.
Flick will make his decision about Muller's future NT involvement. I do believe Muller will still be a NT player under Flick.
Loew lost the plot by recalling Muller and Hummels. Hes not that good since 2014. He needs to retire asap, am sure hed have zero goals and assists if he'd be playing for any club other than Bayern in BL

Not really a fan of this term "most decorated player" not knocking Thomas Mueller by any means but guys like Beckenbauer and Gerd Mueller for example were both World cup and European championship winners....Thomas Mueller wasnt. Also at club level Beckenbauer and Gerd Mueller won 3 European cups compared Thomas Mueller's 2 champions leagues...so again in the big competitions that count its advantage the old guys. What it basically comes down to is Thomas Mueller benefiting from playing in an era where Bayern owns the Bundesliga and can also add mickey mouse titles like DFL supercups etc that didnt even exist back in the day. Would also throw in on an individual basis Beckenbauer and Gerd Mueller are more decorated. Both Balon Dor winners and Gerd was pretty much topscorer in anything he ever played in. anyway the point i'm trying to make is to me that term just seems to give a distorted picture of reality.
