Kobayashi pulls one back... still I'm under impression that Beleza under Kazuhiko Takemoto plays very naive football

2-2 Ueki from the spot. Game on.

 

Ueki gets a pretty soft penatly, because she does like to fall over. But INAC created a lot of trouble out of nothing.

And Ueki converts.

Beleza got two very soft penalties against Elfen in their 9-0 demolition as well. Beleza are just very luckly in the penalty box.

 

It is 2-2 in Kobe.

I mean she has just fallen over. Her and Fujino do it all the time, but it works.

INAC should have four goals, so they only have themselves to blame.

Beleza's manager does not really do anything different. He just depends on some very good players getting his team out of trouble. Also the strengths of Beleza mean that in this league they can exploit other team's weaknesses without doing anything different.

Having said that they are 2-2 against one of the best teams in the competition and I can see them winning this game. However given how many chances INAC have created I am inclined to think INAC will get the win.

Ehime playing possesion footie with a lot of confidence and all over Orca for the first ten minutes....Kubota scores after 15 mins after a lovely build up then a ludicrous piece of play from new goalkeeper at 20 mins gifts Orca #11(who appears to be wearing shorts three sizes too small) a goal...secret weapon Tago is on the bench and hopefully ready to come on and win the game for Ehime in the second half.

 

Urawa Reds ---- 46p --- 41-17 (+24) remaining matches: Omiya (H), Chifure (A)
INAC Kobe ----- 40p --- 32-13 (+19) remianing matches: Chiba (A), Nagano (A)

INAC's chances are slim.

F.T.....Orca (Suzuki) 1-1 Ehime (Kubota)

Tago was on in the second half but didn't win the game for Ehime... mixed feelings about this game...on the one hand Ehime F.C. Ladies are playing some the best football I had seen them play for ages and ages...keeping the ball and passing and moving...working hard to get the ball back...attacking in numbers...then we have a flashback to the pantomime goalkeeping games of last season....new keeper Komatsu has been pretty solid so far but the reality is today's mistake cost the team the win...hope she reflects and this is just a one off....am sure most Ehime followers would have settled for an away point at high flying Orca befor k.o. but it could have been 3pts.

Ends in a draw. The game really opened up in the second half and there were some tired legs at the end. INAC lacked the defensive cohesion they had in the first half, which gave Beleza quite a few good opportunities to score.

INAC still created the better chances to score throughout the game and only have themselves to blame for allowing Beleza to come back; Narumiya in particular will be disappointed with her finishing.

I thought Wakisaka was very good in defence against Fujino. Tanaka again was very good along with Narumiya. Beleza being so attack heavy are always a chance to score and Ueki was very good with Kobayashi helping in support.

It was an entertaining game.

 

I've revived.
"D" is OK, but "z" may sound more natural for Japanese people.

It was the final day of the WSL season yesterday and so I thought I would collate the season stats of the Japanese players:

Shimizu (West Ham) 21+1 apps 0 goals
Hayashi (West Ham) 19+2 apps 1 goal
Hasegawa (Man City) 20 apps 1 goal
Nagano (Liverpool) 13 apps 0 goals
Iwabuchi (Arsenal) 0+3 apps 0 goals

I know that most of the players are not playing forward roles, but just 2 goals between all 5 is a pretty poor return.

 

I was only watching highlights today for the Beleza game...

At first, I didn't understand how Beleza drew this game when they scored all 4 goals, but then I realized, the first 2 goals were Beleza defending, not attacking...

 

I usually go by the player introductions on the streams also how the commentator pronounces the player names in the game. If you use deepl to translate her name from Kanji, it gives another option.

 

I wouldn't blame the goalkeeper here, more the tactics of trying to keep the ball in such an area and passing back to her so much. Orcas Suzuki Harohi is the leagues (D1) most attacking player going by the number of shots she's had.
The positives though is that 2 games now Ehime have played well going forward on two decent pitches. Maybe that home pitch needs replacing. Bunnys Oya Ayumi looked a little unsure what to do when taking a corner there, 3 weeks back, with the pitch disintegrating. Kubota Haruka the star player again

 

Bayern wins Bundesliga title with two Kumagai goals(1:0 and 9:0, 3:0 was an own goal)


Celebrations


Meppen(Hirata) and Potsdam(Kyokawa) relegated so it's possible that we will have no Japanese player next year in 1.Bundesliga.
