Yes there wasn't much anyone could do about that. Poor marking on the corner...again. Surprised to see Fire with 56% possession.
Well Kacper doesn't appear to be playing in the same game to me. I would run out Kai in about 10 minutes or so and I hope Frank agrees with me. I'd like to see Guti make an impact on this match but not sure who you pull for him? Czichos on the bench
Hopefully Frank had instilled some belief in the entire squad. If you told me that the half time score was 2-2 with this lineup on the road, I would have been happy. Seeing it happen, I am a little disappointed. It looks like a foul to Pineda before the first goal, but the defending on the corner was bad. The team played well in the first half for the most part. It looks like Frank has had a positive effect on the team, but it may be that players are getting healthier too.
Interesting With his 10th minute goal against New England, @ChicagoFire forward Georgios Koutsias (19 years old) became the third different player under the age of 20 in club history to score in consecutive games, joining Jhon Duran and Justin Mapp (who accomplished the feat twice). pic.twitter.com/WvXTX7kLHB— MLS Communications (@MLS_PR) May 28, 2023
Our back passing is inviting NER to press and run downhill. We have to move more and break some lines.
Kacper knocked on the head, as happens often with him. Off the field for a minute. Now Pinera takes a ball in the face.
I know, but the ref ordered him off to get checked out on the sideline. It should have been a foul and just that.
