    The offspring gives hope
It was enough to win, but as is well known, Hertha still has to play in the second division. "I still can't believe that we've been relegated to Hertha BSC," said winning goalscorer Richter. And sports director Benjamin Weber was also "disappointed with the relegation" after the game.

Nevertheless, Weber tried to look ahead and draw positive conclusions from the win: "Especially in the second half you could see that this would be our path," he drew attention to the young players in the ranks of the Berliners . "It will be a mix between the older and the young." Tjark Ernst, for example, showed a strong performance in the Hertha goal on his Bundesliga debut, with Maza a 17-year-old equalized in the meantime.

Dardai assures: "I will definitely work at Hertha BSC"
A development that also makes Dardai proud: "I've been here for many years, I gave half my life to ensure that the youth academy was given the maximum importance. The youth work is excellent, you could see that again today: there were two or three players 'my players'. A fantastic feeling."

Now Hertha is about preparing for the coming season in the 2nd division in terms of personnel - for players and for the coaching position. While Niederlechner was "definitely in the mood" for the mission to rise again, Richter said about his personal future: "I have to process it now and don't want to answer it. We are in good contact and we'll see what happens."

How things will continue in the coaching position should turn out next week when those responsible meet with Dardai, Dardai and Weber confirmed. Dardai could only assure one thing on Saturday: "I will definitely work at Hertha BSC."

2BL HR gives 3 U19 players pro contracts.....that's nice and all but they so far haven't even integrated 03 W Martens, 03 CB Dietze and 03 LB Ruschke who got pro contracts last season.

they also seem to like 03 M Koster (2 2BL caps this season), 03 GK Kruth (has been regular on 1st team bench in recent) too.

BUT the 1 good news is as mentioned below, HR II Got promoted to RL next season. So all the youth will now play in RL which is 2 levels below 1st team and NOT 3 levels below as it was this season.

now next batch, 04 GK Hoftmann, 04 M Kruger, and 04 W Brzozowski (poached by Poland)

PRO CONTRACTS FOR THREE U19 PLAYERS OF F.C. HANSA
The youth academy of the F.C. Hansa Rostock has celebrated several great successes this season. In addition to the U23 championship in the Oberliga Nord and the associated promotion to the regional league, the U19 team celebrated relegation in the A-Junior Bundesliga. With Elias Höftmann, Joshua Krüger and Milosz Brzozowski, three players from the successful team have been given long-term professional contracts with F.C. Hansa.

Goalkeeper Elias Höftmann (19) has been on board the Kogge for 11 years and came to the Hanseatic League from the FC squad René Schneider. Born in Rostock, he has drawn attention to himself through strong performances over the years and was a great support this season as well. Elias played 14 games for the U19s in the Bundesliga, the DFB Cup and in the special game round. In addition, he has already made eight appearances in the U23 team in the Oberliga Nord and has gone a strong seven games without conceding a goal. Elias Höftmann has signed a two-year contract with F.C. until summer 2025.

The two midfielders Joshua Krüger and Milosz Brzozowski will remain on board the cog for three years, and thus until the summer of 2026. Joshua Krüger, who was born in Zirtow, has been playing in Rostock for seven years and switched from TSG Neustrelitz to Warnow. He captained the U19s last season and feels most comfortable in defensive midfield. Across all competitions, he played 18 games for the A-Juniors and scored three goals. There has also been one encounter in the U23 team so far. During the winter break, "Joshi" was able to get a taste of professional life for the first time and attend the training camp in Belek, Turkey.

Milosz Brzozowski was also allowed to get involved in Turkey in January. The 19-year-old Pole, who was born in the border town of Świnoujście, moved from Greifswalder FC to Rostock in 2017 and has since been an indispensable part of all youth teams. The left-footed player can play both offensively and defensively on the left and made 17 competitive appearances for the U19s last season, scoring one goal. In addition, there have been three games in the U23s with a remarkable two goals. In addition, Milosz Brzozowski is also regularly in action in the youth national team. So far he has played 20 matches for the Polish U15 to U19 teams.

For Michael Meier, the head of the Hansa junior academy, the three professional contracts for the players of the "Junge Hanseaten" are a great reward for the work of the entire junior division: "It makes us extremely proud as a junior academy that with Joshua, Milosz and Elias three boys make the step into the squad of professionals. The three boys identify completely with the Kogge and have been playing together since the U14.With Elias, who has been with the club for 11 years, Joshua, who has worn the FC Hansa jersey for seven years and Milosz, who has been with the Young Hanseatic League for six years, we have created real role models for our academy player. We would like to thank all the coaches and staff who have helped develop the boys. But we will remain in the close contact, because the squad place with the professionals should only be the first step for the boys - we will always support you on the way to your big dream of playing in the Ostseestadion."

    1BL
-02 CB Schmidt played his 3rd XI of season for Freiburg. According to Streich, still can't play full 90.
-03 M Wagner played 9 mins today for his 4th 1BL cap, 5th pro cap if one includes EL
-04 M Tohumcu played 26 min for his 8th 1BL cap of season and 9th total with dfb cup
-02 CF Scherhant played 46 min for Hertha and his 10th 1BL cap
-04 RB Eitschberger played injury time for Hertha for his 2nd 1BL cap

    Austrian Bundesliga
-03 M Rhein (on loan) back in XI since return from injury. With this he hits over 1000 min in his 1st ever pro season, injury issues, and needing 2-3 months to breakthrough/adapt. All in all, not too bad given circumstances.

    Eredivisie Playoffs
-03 LB Di Michele Sanchez (on loan from 1BL Wolfsburg) in XI in both legs. Leg 1, 1-0 W and Leg 2, 4-1 W. Its good to see him back in XI after long term injury. With this NAC Breda advances to SF of the Promotion playoffs. While teammate 00 CF Herrmann scored the 4th today.

will be curious to see if more get promoted
Eredivisie Promoted=02 W Nankishi (on loan, Heracles), 02 AM/W Wehmeyer (Heracles), 00 RB Gorlich (PEC Zwolle)

If Herrmann and Di Michele Sanchez also get promoted would jump # to 5 players who get Eredivisie promotion.

    3rd Liga
-03 RB Halangk (5th XI of season, Hallescher), 04 CB Collins (7th XI, Dortmund II), 03 GK Braune (6th XI, Duisburg), 02 M Civeja (6th back to back XIs, on loan....prior to April was bench all season. Is this enough to be able to go above 3rd Liga next season or does he end up in more 3rd Liga???)
-Dortmund II is such a dumb club, so all praise for 04 W Bamba just for him to go unused in last matchday and back with Lotka in goal instead of 03 GK Osztrinski or 04 GK Kirsch.....cringe. The match is irrelevant and still play older irrelevant players....
-02 W Ennali (on loan) had assist in 2-2 D for RWE
-03 CB Rosenfelder (1st team prospect) scored his 2nd of season while 04 W Baur (also 1st team prospect) had assist for Freiburg II in 2-0 W.

    RL
-02 CF Asllani scored his 14th goal of season and 2-1 Winner for Hoff II. What will Hoff do with him, too good for RL and his only issue is finishing when it came to playing 1BL but other than that has the package for it. Would guess loan in Summer
-05 CB Drexler continues to be XI for Hoff II.
-02 CF Hummel (scoring his 5th), 02 W Croswaithe (scoring his 4th) and 03 CF Kuhn (Bremen II, scoring his 4th) for their respective RL clubs. Although looking like Bremen II is on track for relegation, yikes.
-02 CF M.Muller bagged hat trick in 3-2 Winner for Augsburg II, his 9th of season. Although has trained with 1st team, he's moving to Mainz II in Summer.....dumb
-04 AM/W Grimbs (14th goal of season) and 03 M Littig (3rd of season) scored in 3-1 W for Furth II
    -04 CF Tresoldi (3rd of season), 03 M Uhlmann (3rd of season), 03 W Rutkowski (3rd of season) and 02 AM Stepantsev (6th of season) in 6-2 W for H96 II.

interesting to see the #s of 00-01 RBs
    -1BL=Vagnoman, Fischer
-Danish 1st=Ludewig (on loan from Salzburg)
-2BL=Asta (linked with 1BL), Wieckhoff (2BL but after long term injury, getting dumped in Summer)

    Summer 2023 Additions
    -Eredivisie=Gorlich
    -2BL=Treu, Pinckert, Rorig

will be curious to see how many total makes it to 1BL.

its NOT even 00 and 01. They are ALL 00s minus Asta who is a 01.

I'm legit suprised that Germany 2006 made SF based on what all the so called "experts" said....sarcasm alert, LOL.

Portugal, Italy, Netherland, Pengland NONE made SF.

and then one of the 4 finalist France....already got trashed by us in GS too.

1 win away from the final too.

I'm curious to see if it ends up as Spain vs Germany final. Rematch from our Elite Round qualifiers too, thats interesting prospects if it does happen.

has been confirmed that 02 AM/W Kehl is leaving Freiburg II in Summer, free transfer. Given his successful 3rd Liga season, he's likely gonna end up in 2BL-1st Abroad.

good to see that a player from 2002 Age group, U17 Euro is gonna make it in relevant pro level.

    from that squad only
    -02 CB Koudelka......Danish 3rd division......
-02 CB/RB Lang, regular XI in RL
-02 M Meyer, DESTROYED BY NEVERENDING INJURIES, in RL

are below 2BL-1st Abroad from entire squad.

    -02 RB Rosenboom=moving to 2BL Kiel
    -02 AM/W Kehl=all but likely 2BL-1st Abroad in Summer
    -02 CF Woltemade=hit 3rd Liga loan=next up either 1BL Bremen or 2BL Elvsersberg

so we are getting close to entire squad. Meyer was a 1BL prospect prior to all injuries, now who knows.

Yeah, I thought the rule was if you got a PK against you, you should only get a yellow card as last man foul. I couldn't see anything other than a "professional" foul here and it looked like a last man foul. (I couldn't tell, the U-17 coverage is really not good here). The foul itself didn't look like it merited anything if it was outside the box. Was there something that happened afterwards that caused the red card?

I don't think anything else happened from what I could see, seems the red was for the foul. In his interview afterwards Christian Wuck said he didn't understand the decision.

I watched the qualifiers and I didn't see much difference between us or Spain, we actually should have won tbh. That's why I didn't feel like we had much to fear in this tournament, at pretty much all youth levels we rarely get outplayed by anyone it's just costly mistakes or shit refereeing.

another L for the Frenchies from 2005, 2006, 2007 all this season, LMAO. Even Leg 1 that ended up 2-2 for 2007, coach said that Germany should have won and was better team too.

    -French 2005-2007=struggles vs Germany
    -French 2004=embarrassed themeslves
-French 2003=embarrassing themeslves in U20 WC

have to say If I'm worried (not in the stressed out way, I don't do stress for a sport, LOL) about any team its U21 of 00-01s next month.

I still feel like we are losing to many players to injury+poaching and this has weakened us.

no Katterbach, no Samardzic, no Tillman, no Burkardt and bunch of others too.......and now potentially no Nmecha.

I mean Katterbach, Samardzic, Burkardt, Nmecha are all XI candidates too.....

unbelievable at how clubs like 2BL KSC can't play 04 GK Weiss, 2BL FCK can't play 00 GK Krahl, 2BL FD can't play 02 GK Gorka in last matchdays.....if one looks at all positions, its crazy how in past few seasons, both 1BL-2BL-3rd Liga none even bother with integration EVEN in pointless matches, so ********ing stupid. Or more stupid at how majority of clubs go unused bench towards youth when they trash other clubs......that's best time for chances.....

so GK wise only 03 GK Ernst and 03 GK Kruth got to get game time from 1BL-2BL.

    2BL Final Matchday
-03 CB Kleine-Bekel (pro contract kicks in Summer 2023) makes his 2BL/pro bench debut and looking like the next 02-03 CB to breakthrough relevant pros.
-03 GK Kruth makes his 2BL/pro/XI debut for Magdeburg!!!
1662800519239196672 is not a valid tweet id

-02 CB/DM Dietz makes his 2BL XI debut

-Also on Furth bench is 05 M Raebiger, 05 CB Schlicke, 04 M P.Muller (pro bench debut). Hopefully all 3 get game time today.
-02 CB Fofana back in XI for FCN.....while 02 RB Hofmann back in matchday squad

-Bremen Clemens Fritz confirms that 01 M Engelhardt is moving to Freiburg. Now question is whether its to play 1BL or end up on 2BL-1st Abroad loan.

    RL
-05 GK Goller (3rd XI), 05 CB Matiebel (2nd XI), 05 LB Strasner (2nd XI) for Hertha II in 1-1 D. 03 M/W Abdullatif scored his 9th of season.
-02 M/W Keller scored his 3rd of season and 1-0 Winner
-03 CF Rogero (4th of season) and 00 AM/W Sussek (10th of season) in 4-3 W. I usually ignore 00-01s in RL but its nice to see that Sussek is finally showing something at this level. Maybe will finally breakthrough pros like 3rd Liga.
