ugh league’s cup. Garber: stop trying to make these tournaments a thing. They’re never going to be a thing. Invest and promote the USOC.

 

I would watch Leagues Cup any day of the week rather than watch the Galaxy lose to Birmingham whomever or the Carolina whomever. At least I can say we lost to Tigres.

 

I enjoy the history of the USOC and the magic of a second division side taking out an MLS team. TBF USOC is so badly treated and mismanaged it’s more the idea of it.

The ceaseless efforts to create some distraction in the summer that lasts a couple of seasons and then disappears for the next money grab just bore me. Move CCL to the summer and I’m happy as a clam.

 

Yeah, my opinion is that the leagues cup devalues the Concacaf Champion’s League most. There is enough MLS vs. Liga MX competition there for something that matters. Flooding the market with an entire month of it for absolutely nothing of value other than a cash grab is really lame.
