Hope Pulisic leaves Chelsea so he can play in the CL next year.

Wolves gonna leap Chelsea next week. Lol. And Hammers will tie them on points!

It's too bad NUFC are already safe in 4th. Be funny to see them beat Chelsea and leave them in 13th.

Maybe I should wish for Puli to stick a last year there to see them relegated.

"Second-half substitutes Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic performed so half-heartedly it was obvious that they were merely running the clock down on their Chelsea careers before heading for the exit door this summer."

Mark Ogden - you are nothing special yourself ... we see bad journalism every week.

Pulisic was so half hearted he tried to body slam De Gea with his 150 lb frame. Right. Ogden is just an example of a biased UK journalist. And CP was making runs non stop during his 20 minutes on the pitch and made a good strong left footed cross that his teammates could not get to. Damn - Ogden - at least try to provide some semblance of fairness in your reporting.

The anti US bias is just sickening.

Yeah, it was clear Pulisic wanted desperately to get out of there with a goal... that's hysterical tripe.

I think a disproportionate number of soccer broadcasters are dimwits. They listen to their colleagues--smart or dumb-- and the social media then repeat the trending storyline, aka the proverbial "tripe." There is never a smidgen of nuance because that would require thought and truthful assessment of reality by both the talking heads and the average audience (BS posters not included, of course).

Agreed. That was indeed a sickening article. To call out CP specifically from that hellish team performance yesterday. Bizarre. The energy level definitely popped up a notch when CP and the other replacements came on. Maybe he had to go to the loo or something during the Pulisic-De Gea incident. That was running out the clock on the season? He's always had it out for Pulisic. Not sure what the kid ever did to him.

So sick and tired of the pouring rain, I took a train to Morocco just to kill the pain.
It might help a little, it might hurt a lot. I don't know, but it's all I got.

Ya shoulda took a pill in Ibizia instead.

I do think much of what we see as anti-Americanism in Britain is just hypersonic Anglo-Onanism. "If you ain't us, you ain't much" could be the motto of the Union Jack (much like a few of their colonies... even, perhaps, the one a few thousand miles west....)

Yeah... And the Turkish league is super physical. Would be a terrible landing spot.... he would be better off going to the MLS. But I have to assume there will be quite a few takers in top 5 Europe.

I’m surprised that bigot didn’t write:

“If Pulisic hasn’t been brought on in the second half, Chelsea would have staged a comeback and win 3-2 . Instead the crazy Lampard subbed in the American as a good Boehly servant and ruined Chelsea’s chances.”

So today will presumably be Pulisic’s final match for Chelsea. It will be interesting to see if/how much he plays. Some sources are predicting him to start, but I’ll believe it when I see it. It would be nice if he could go out on a positive note, with some respect from the club, although I can’t help but worry about an injury that could result in him getting stuck there.

I'd love for him to get a goal today as I can't recall the last time he scored one for the Blues. A fitting goodbye!

Fitting I guess for Chelsea to give him this final insult. Couldn’t even start him for his last game for the club, despite his playing well last game. I guess this way we can all feel certain to have no regrets about his leaving. Hoping for better days ahead for our boy.
