I thought he retired.... he only 35. thought he was older than Falcao.

Regardless Nacional is the richest and best team in Colombia if they struggled against a fking 2nd division argie team that is fking pathetic. The league needs to do something change the schedule, how coaches are hired but this can not stand anymore that our teams get this ********ing embarrassed

Nacional isnt anymore the best team in Colombia...just look their roster.....Millonarios, America, Junior, and even Santa fe or DIM actually have better names overall in this moment......maybe nacional should keep the one that better paid....but isntr true they are the best in this moment.

What a brilliant match yesterday vs DIM. I must say that I think Duque must retire, but in the last couple of games, he scored four goals and assisted one to Angel. I still think he is too slow and incapable of playing Copa Libertadores matches, but against DIM, he is the king. It was the best match of Nacional this season; finally, we were looked like a football team.
Besides Duque, 18-year-old Ocampo was very good; Deossa had a good first half, and Angel scored. MIer was Mier, a goalkeeper that deserved an invitation.

BTW, Autuori said that he gives his bless to the young players to go to the World Cup

Is Mier still #1? If so why doesn’t he get called to the NT?

Yes, he is, and I agree with Doogs. Montero is a very average goalkeeper in my opinion, Marmolejo, for example, is much better. Camilo Vargas after the last couple of friendlies also showed that we cannot trust him.
David, Mosquera Marmolejo and Mier are my choices

Very good first half vs Olimpia, GOLAZO de Memin from a long distance. Top scorer of the Libertadores so far and a win today will give us the spot in the next phase

Unfortunately, we couldn't win the match. Too many defensive mistakes cost us two points. We will qualify from this group, but this team cannot exceed QF, max.
Pabon, Deossa (excellent), Candelo, Sebas Gomez, and Nelson Palacio played very, very well.
Devenish scored the second one but also caused two critical mistakes

Another win vs Santa Fe and with a mixed team. It seems that Nacional woke up on time, just before the playoff.
Andres Roman is a beautiful signing, and I believe that we will search to activate the purchase option that we have on him.
But more important, this management must close the extended contract with Pabon ASAP

The first team to secure a spot in the Libertadores round of 16. It wasn't a good match, but at least we won, and we can relax and concentrate in the quadrangulares.
We are lacking strikers up front. Duque is unstable, Angel with the NT and Da Costa is foreigner no. 1463 that doesn't succeed with the team. Nacional's scouts are probably not the best abroad.

they really should just raid Periera, boyaca, dept cali for players

I want the league to be a 2-3 team race with Nacional, Junior and maybe Millos or America just being super teams

Horrible pitch conditions at the moment against Petrolera. The game was stopped for half an hour, and then the ref renewed it, even though the pitch still sucks. You can't play like this, surely not a technique team like Nacional. For Petrolera this run and gun is great, they are living on their counter attacks. So far 1-1 at half time, but Nacional must win this

I am not mad that we lost. Millonarios was the better team by far.

I am mad on HOW we lost. Both games were abysmal. And those PK's were horrendous. Also the subs shenanigans were deplorable. What a really bad team we were.

The results are the least important thing so far.
Both management and coaching staff are ruing this thing called Atletico Nacional. Autuori disrespected the fans, and think that he is ok and the management needs a puppet just like Autuori.
The players don't like the coach, the coach lost control on the team and ironically the management is happy with this situation because I understood that so far he wasn't sacked. Poor times for Club Atletico Nacional

There's a god. Paulo Autuori left the club. Seriously, one of the worst coaches we've had. God knows how we reached the final with such a poor coach and poor football. I think that if it was up to Navarro, he would keep the Brazilian in the job. Now we need to find a decent coach because we didn't have one since Rueda.
