Dahoud and Moukoko coming in long after the match has been decided.

Now Dahoud comes on. Maybe we will finally realise that we NEED him to compete against top teams. He is quality.

Also I like Can and he is a good option, but he is NOT good enough. We need a proper, 6. Until we sort our midfield out. We will never be able to compete.

The sad reality is that Reus will finish his career without ever winning a Bundesliga title with his beloved club.

Well Kobel made two mistakes and without that we wouldn't have had our confidence shot. They were huge mistakes.

Playing Bellingham and Raphael is never going to work against a to team

I'm kinda surprised Slash hasn't resurfaced to rant about how sacking Tuchel was the biggest mistake in the club's history.

4-2 fair play to Malen and Dahoud. They have come on and they have fought.

Apart from Kobel a large portion of this blame lays on Terzic for once again messing up his starting line up for a big game

I hope he only lost interest in the forum. I was rather thinking that he returned to his home country and had more serious issues to deal with due to the circumstances there.

No time to dwell. We have a very important DFB-Pokal match vs RB Leipzig on Wednesday.

Our two biggest games of the season, first the second leg of the CL last 16 against a piss-poor Chelsea and today against Bayern, and we lost them both in the most embarrassing way imaginable.

I can’t agree with that premise considering he played pretty much our strongest 11. Sure, you can argue about Dahoud playing in place of Guerreiro but Raphael has been our best player this past month (was also a nominee for BL player of the month) so what justification do you use to kot play him over Dahoud whom you haven’t played all season?

The one critique I have is that he was overzealous starting so many players that have been injured the last few weeks right off the bet.

No we didn't play out strongest 11.
Because Dahoud by a country mile is out best midfielder

And again Raphael has not been our best player. It seems people only care about statistics and assist. Dahoud is out most important and best midfielder because he controls the tempo of the game and plays the ball quickly and at angles into our attacking players so they can create chances. He is also our most press resistant player so stops teams pressing against us.

So not starting Dahoud is plain idiotic and we pay for it time and time again.

    2. When you are playing Bayern there are going to be moments where you are under pressure and need speed. We need at least one player with great pace in the front three against a top team.

When we are playing games we are going to dominate that's not such a big issue, but in tough games we need one of Adeyemi, Gittens or at worst Malen starting. We need that raw speed as an outlet and he has failed to do that.

I am as angry as Reus www and this needs sorting out.

Ozcan is not good enough for a top team.
Can is not good enough in the highest pressure games.
Raphael is a great option and deserves a contract, but he should not he starting for us.
    Need speed.

Terzic needs to understand this and understand this quick or else the season is going to end as a failure

And apart from Kobels unacceptable messs it's on Terzic.
Not playing our best midfielder and playing an attacking front 4 with no pace.

I am still fuming, but the question has to he asked based on what are Haller and Bellingham continuing to be able to start every week?

One thing I sincerely hope doesn't happen at the end of the season is that club management and local fans alike celebrate the season as a success because we "competed" with Bayern like they did at the end of the 2018-19 season.

Unless there is a trophy there is nothing to celebrate.
I still think if we start playing the right team we can win all our remaining matches. Of course we need Bayern to slip up, but it's out of our hands. All we can do is win every game.

Today we shamed ourselves in front of the world again. Ironically many fans in England are questioning why our midfield is always so terrible and why Bellingham is average in big games.

Then let's hope he's sold at an inflated price this summer before the smokescreen vanishes.

This game was lost in the head. I don't have a problem with the individual mistake. They are bound to happen. But the players should keep playing at the same level, while keeping cool and taking the initiative. Just like they did in the first 15 minutes.

I think Bayern will drop points and we should be ready for that. Forget about this game. The title is still in play.

Yes, that was the mistake... bringing on a host of players who for weeks have been sat in the hospital room, and were clearly not up to speed. Brandt, Kobel, both looked VERY rusty. schlotterbeck had an injury scare with the German team, and was still used, and is now injured.

Terzic needs to learn o rotate, and his team selection, while the strongest technically, was poor slection. Hate him or love him, Malen has been on fire, and should have started above Brandt.

I have a controversial theory, that Bayern have been tapping Kobel over the winter break, and that has led to a turned head, and didn't seem altogether there. Bayern have head games, leaking thE Gotze transfer before tHE Champions League game, pretending Musiala was injured, bringing Tuchel of all people back to the club... it's all mind games. Kobel has been tapped !!!

Yes it was an embarrassment on the international stage. I expect the right changes for Leipzig.

Playing City, Bayern and a terrible Chelsea should make it very clear which players are not good enough for the highest level. Some of these players are good squad players and should be kept. But others aren't even that and need to be shown the door. In addition we need to stop overhyped youngsters and letting them get away with rubbish.

Watching the game yesterday and it was old man Reus sprinting back whilst Bellingham and Raphael thought they were strikers.

I was a big Sancho fan, but part of our problem was we indulged him. He had to do so little defensive work, whilst others like covered.
