#3 was By far my fave goal of the bunch.

The boys did their duty. I did my mine. My fam put up with me and wireless/vpn tech shined, in the middle of nowhere.

    Onward!

1 goal and 7 assists for Trossard in 8 Premier League games, is that right??

    Yup

Idk how he wasn’t signed sooner. Proper footballer.

Genuinely concerned about Holding after today against better sides.

I agree generally, but was there something today that caused you concern? I didn't think he was really tested. Leeds goal came as a result of Jorginho doing that thing he does occasionally when he tries to pop out of his hole and nick a pass, misses, gets bypassed and then can't recover.

I'm going to put my positivity blinders on and tell myself that Rob will continue to improve the more regularly he plays. Now that he's played 90 consecutive minutes, he's reached a point this season where we will see peak Rob at Anfield this weekend.

He was all over the place in the first half. A better attacker than Summerville scores at least one today.

Yeah, I attributed a lot of Summerville's danger in the first half to White as much as I did to Holding. I recall two instances in particular in which he spun White a bit.

There were a lot of chances created in his channel. That first half was scary.

He doesn’t do anything obviously bad but a better team makes us pay.

Wasn’t that the same dude who hip checked Xhaka really early on? That hip check was done to get stuck in on a player, should’ve been whistled.

    Holding was decent I thought

Summerville causes a lot of people problems, he’s genuinely a big talent same and gnonto

lots of good little wide players coming into the picture this season, Mitoma as well

good performance though, lethargic first half but we are still deadly on the counter and have even better movement with Jesus back

Saka rw will improve stuff even though trossard had assists he wasn’t as effective as Saka (look at the last goal, he draws 4 players towards him)

People who write headlines in the style "Jesus at the double", "Jesus Doubles up" etc should be executed at dawn

"Jesus thirst for goals emerges from cave after being dead."

    "Jesus goal resurrection."

Yeah man the back four is a bit of a bandaid job at this point but onward and upward we go. Maybe we just gotta outscore everyone from here on out lol. Just win baby

I mean it is good to have players that can play in the positions properly instead of 2 dozen bitsy midfielders

The bitsiest midfielder from that period was ptobably the best midfielder, too many flawed midfielders might be a better description.

But also unlike back in the late 90s, when we had the likes of Freddy or Overmars Wenger just seemed to be allergic to buying many proper wingers or wide forwards?

He seemed to be always trying to use a player like Nasri or Rosicky in the Pires style role.

Too many injuries. Wenger should have had an extra two PL titles to his name at least. One around 2010 and the one that Leicester won.

I still sometimes go back and watch highlights of the games where we had Fabregas/Rosicky/Hleb/Flamini running around bullying other midfields.

I felt Wenger punched above his weight 2006/07 to 2012 or 2013. He felt short because of circumstances and budget. We had three UCL exits to eventual winners in Manure, Barca and Bayern.

From 2013, and yes despite the FA cup wins, I felt he truly began to show his age. It was not Pep and Mou beating him, even the Rodgers and Pochs.
