Some interesting stuff to note.

Khari Stephenson is our all time goal scoring leader against the Dyanmo. He has 4 goals against them. Quintero, Wondolowski, Yueill, Jebo, Johnson and Vako each have 2 against them. Jebo has a chance to increase it this weekend.

Mike Magee isn't the only field player to play keeper against us. Jalil Anibaba played 11 minutes in goal against us, and had 2 saves!!!

 

These are the current stats for players on both teams against each other across the career. Looks like we have a heavy stastical advantage over them player wise. Jebo's hit 5 total against Houston tallying his 3 with Portland and 2 for us.

 

I also notice JT gives up a little over 2 goals a game vs Houston, Clark is under 1.

Houston also kicks our ass a lot.

I didnt realize Houston got Artur from Columbus. Seems they've dumped almost their entire backline that Caleb Porter had.

 

I thought they fired Tab Ramos early last year… Isn’t Ben Olsen the HOU coach now?

 

Yes lol, but Tab Ramos.

He threw a huge fit when he got fired lol. So one of the 'weird' trends that people have been doing whenever Houston comes to town for an away game everyone goes BUT TAB RAMOS.

He basically blamed the organization for the failures but not himself. He also said he hated traveling to half the cities lol.

Somehow I feel more confident that a female CR will be fair. Reverse sexism?

The Lady refs are usually decent. They come from the school of Sandra Hunt, who once told Zach Thronton on a ESPN game in 1999 to stfu and quit crying like a girl.

 

2nd. Sandra Hunt reffed us in 1999. First lady ref in MLS history. And shes the best ever female ref

Kari Seitz! Awesome ref. I really liked and respected her, also Sandra Hunt who I bigot to chat with once.

Seitz once gave three red cards to the same team in a USL match. The cards were all well earned, so they were good cards, but having the integrity to show them a third very late in the game (stoppage time, maybe?) was really fantastic!

So I’m hoping that Tori Penso will be excellent. Also, Fotis was really good the last time he reffed a game for us. I was surprised, but really pleased.
