Between 1988 (when officials began documenting detailed information) and August 4, 2019, assault rifles were used in only 14 percent of mass shootings. Additionally, we've had guns in this country since it's inception yet it's only an issue in the last 20-30 years? If I could waive my hand and make all the guns disappear, I would, but that's never going to happen. The toothpaste is out of the tube and you can't get it back in. Guns were already illegal in the school and the general area. We would just be making them more illegal and thinking that the deranged lunatics would care. The answer, I'm afraid, is more security at schools.
I don't think anyone wants to make any gun illegal, just to try and limit the ability of certain members of society to purchase them. That's where the 'right' has it wrong
My Trans nephew nearly committed suicide as a teen because gender affirming care wasn't available. Here's something from today. The ideology these people want to eradicate is Trans people existing and being accepted as normal members of society.
