The key is that establishment Republicans (whatever that means now) attack Trump one at a time. If they swarmed him they could end him, but they won’t do that.
I don't want that, either, and I apologize if something in my post left you or superdave (who liked your post) with that impression. What I want is for them to be as organized and unified in their ideology as the right is. They're a well-oiled machine of hate. I respect that, because it's working. They have no good reason to hate us, brf, but the reverse is not true.

The modern GOP is purely performative so they will always easily be outmaneuvered by someone who is not. Corporations are capable of being performative but it normally doesn't happen when their core interests are concerned which is making money.
Indeed. It sounds like Disney actually started the process a year ago and they complied with all of Florida's Sunshine laws and public notifications about what they were doing. As a result, it may be difficult for DeSantis to actually challenge what Disney did. Obviously, DeSantis justices now controls the Florida Supreme Court, so I'm sure it won't stop them from trying.
