The key is that establishment Republicans (whatever that means now) attack Trump one at a time. If they swarmed him they could end him, but they won’t do that.

I don't want that, either, and I apologize if something in my post left you or superdave (who liked your post) with that impression.

What I want is for them to be as organized and unified in their ideology as the right is. They're a well-oiled machine of hate. I respect that, because it's working.

They have no good reason to hate us, brf, but the reverse is not true.

i don’t think it’s a myth. It exists in polling. But like you say when they have to actually choose for the first time we might discover it was only 30%. That’s my guess.

It's like those fighting scenes in movies where one bad guy attacks the good guy at a time even though they have them circled.

How long until children will be allowed to take guns to school in order to protect themselves? You would think Republicans would be all in favor of that.

RFC 1149, though I'm saying this a day late. But, eventually, DeSantis will get the message.

Meatball Ron ********ed around with Disney and found out!! The SOB got outmaneuvered by Mickey Mouse! :D

Gov. Ron DeSantis requested “a thorough review and investigation” into an effort by the Walt Disney Company to limit state oversight of development at Disney World, the New York Times reports.
“Last year, Mr. DeSantis asked Florida lawmakers to terminate self-governing privileges that Disney World had held since 1967.”
“Before the new board was installed, however, the Disney-controlled one passed restrictive covenants and a development agreement that gave the company vast control over future construction in the district; the new board has limited say.”

The modern GOP is purely performative so they will always easily be outmaneuvered by someone who is not. Corporations are capable of being performative but it normally doesn't happen when their core interests are concerned which is making money.

Indeed. It sounds like Disney actually started the process a year ago and they complied with all of Florida's Sunshine laws and public notifications about what they were doing. As a result, it may be difficult for DeSantis to actually challenge what Disney did. Obviously, DeSantis justices now controls the Florida Supreme Court, so I'm sure it won't stop them from trying.
