The reason Republicans assume that Bragg has no agency and is just acting at the behest of a giant Democratic conspiracy is because that’s exactly how *they* operate. https://t.co/RssQUBvyCm— Panda Bernstein (@J4Years) March 31, 2023
the GOP base is constantly having to square this circle. one of the reasons QAnon immediately clicked for so many of them is that it explains why top Democrats, who they've been hearing insane conspiracies about for 30 years, are never charged: it's actually happening in secret!— Law Boy (@The_Law_Boy) March 31, 2023

I'm comfortable and somewhat well off. And low key I am a foodie. I'll eat at high quality places and have no problem eating at hole in the wall joints. I had my first experience at a Michelin star place in NY last year and it was quite frankly, an experience that I'm not going to forget. Pricey but worth it. But NY in general is always pricey.
I'm making Japanese food for myself tonight and hopefully going to a Yemeni place after the Detroit City game tomorrow. I am however cutting down my foodie fun, as I want to get more traveling in this year.
I just know President Joe Biden is still up chilling in the White House kitchen eating ice cream and waiting for Vice President Kamala Harris to wake up in Tanzania so they can lol about Trump pic.twitter.com/blDao5dfcW— Qondi: An EPA Bae Thirst Account (@QondiNtini) March 31, 2023 President Bae: Joe. Miche says we can’t spend the whole night laughing about itPresident Biden: Tell her I said, “Yes we can.”President Bae: Okay. That was funny. Tell me about him buying disguises on Amazon again.President Biden: Sources say he’s leaning towards Hamburglar pic.twitter.com/9UOS0pHq8T— Qondi: An EPA Bae Thirst Account (@QondiNtini) March 31, 2023
There is nothing to celebrate. Like the old saying goes, a DA can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. I'll celebrate when a future Republican administration is trying to rename every piece of federal public works after him because he is dead.
There is 0.0000% chance he gets put away. But in 250 years, when they're teaching the elementary school history of our time, there's going to be a picture of Donald Trump's mugshot in the textbook's brain implant mechanism. That's the important thing.
What if they're successful? I mean, there's a Lee HS here that's like 97% Black, one in Montgomery that's about the same, and one in Montgomery named for Jefferson Davis that's about the same. Black kids at Lee-Huntsville shouted down the superintendent who was trying to steer thru a name change. Dumbest shit I've ever seen.
Blacks at times are infected with Americanism in its most virulent form. I'm acquainted with a black man named Robert E Lee. I used to run by a federal building named after Reagan and the closest airport to me was renamed after him.
I want to live long enough to see one named after David Duke. But the basic trait of conservatives is cowardice. Put them in a group and they will destroy a town and slaughter as many as they can, as they did in Black Tulsa. But one on one, they act like it's a debate.

The estimable white-collar crime expert @jentaub suggests a delightful irony – that Donald Trump‘s biggest vulnerability might be his greedy desire to claim a tax deduction for the Stormy Daniels payoff. @monthly https://t.co/vOYGwr6gnU— Paul Glastris (@glastris) March 31, 2023

Historians have long wondered what cause might bring together Robert E. Lee and Frederick Douglass, and apparently it’s their shared adoration for their Lord and Savior Donald John Trump. https://t.co/si7JnJQ3mb— Kevin M. Kruse (@KevinMKruse) March 31, 2023

2/ Former heads of state and govt are charged with crimes pretty frequently. Especially when they commit crimes. They don’t try to overthrow the state. Unless you’re Trump. He did it without there being any charges. This is why it’s a good idea not to be a Trump supporter.— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) March 31, 2023
