I really hope this is true....would be a great chance for Haji

and even if it doesnt work out.....leaving Inter and looking for a new club is not exactly the worst position to be in.

Speaking of people that are better than the Super Lig...Valencia has been on another level for sure.

    Valencia? On another level?

Not sure that Spain's Segunda is another, better, level to the Super Lig but YMMV.

He’s talking about Enner Valencia who’s obliterating Turkish defenses with 26 goals in 22 games.

Wow pretty incredible season from him. Scoring at a slightly better rate than Haaland in league games.

I always thought Inter Valencia would be a great name for a club.

You know….Don’t quote me but…. I think there is a club out of Santa Clarita called Inter Valencia. I vaguely remember the name but remember coaching and getting destroyed 3-0 by their U17’s in a Vegas college showcase tourney. :D

Sounds like a crazy match - Antalyaspor fall behind three times and equalize all three times. Haji with a brace - scoring in the 51st and adding a PK in the 88th.

One of very few bright spot this yr for YA. Keep them coming Haji.

He's now tie with icardi top 4 in league goals with 13 or 14. Also he's youngest goal scorer in that league to top 10 goals.

Definitely moving in summer. The question is would you invite him to gold cup ?

16 goals in all competitions, 31 goals in all comps in 2 years, approaching 50 goals the past 3 seasons combined, also nearly hitting at a goal per 90 with 16 goals in all comps in about 1950 minutes. Helluva season, helluva career turn around the last 3 years.

Really happy for him. First goal today wax excellent too.

I've been going back and forth on USMNT relevance w/him looking a mix of meh and outright bad in a couple of run outs in June and at the WC, but at this point its hard to argue. We've got Pepi, and question marks behind him. The only guy scoring on the regular in a league where there's legit heavy pressure and intense competition is Wright. Yes it aint what it used to be, but at this point looking past Wright and his 31 goals in 4000 minutes the past two years is a bit silly, especially with Vasquez, Sargent and Pefok all in slumps, Dike injured, and Ferreira just not looking like an international striker unless we play at home against patsies. Balogun may push him out if we get him, hell probably will, but for now, Wright is the #2 performing striker in the pool.

Haji has been our most in-form striker for a while now. Unfortunately our fans don't care for the Turkish league and keep putting the rather mediocre Sargent as the #1 choice, with Balogun.

I still have some probably misguided faith in Sargent. The fact that he's on 12 goals for the season is a really positive sign for him, the negative is that only 6 of them have come since like mid September which is more in line w/his more typical production 4-6 goals per season other than the horror show first season with Norwich). I'm still hoping he can develop into adequate but I will be straight here. Haji Wright's gotten a start in a monsoon at El Salvador and against freaking England. Compared to the run outs Ferreira, and Sargent have gotten in particular, and Pepi as well, it's absurd (funny, Wright and Pefok got unbelievably difficult matchups for starts, and then were thrown out, the other guys got piles of patsies).

But regardless, Wright's on 44 goals the past 3 seasons combined, and is having his best season this year with 16 goals in about 1950 minutes. Regardless of the quality of the league, 3 consecutive seasons like this, and scoring against everyone not just the patsies (the favored criticism of Tillman) suggests he's fine. We just have to figure out how to effectively incorporate what he does for club, for country.

I'd still put him 3rd or 4th in the pecking order if we get Balogun, but he definitely should be top 4-5 at worst on any list if we have Balogun and top 4 if we don't.

Maybe he is a late bloomer. It's starting to seem that way.
