Looking at the match schedule, the Pot 1 teams do seem to be a bit biased towards the larger stadiums 0/3 games - Leipzig 1/3 - Gelsenkirchen Dusseldorf 2/4 - Cologne Frankfurt Hamburg Munich 2/3 Berlin 3/4 Dortmund Stuttgart
On the 3rd of October according to an UEFA Tournament Director earlier today. https://www.kicker.de/ticketverkauf...ni bis 14,Start der ersten Verkaufsphase fest
Pretty late. It will be difficult to squeeze in both a lottery and FCFS phase before the draw takes place.
(IMHO) using new application system with no credit cards required to apply they have intentionally shortened the application period, not only Euro but all compettitions. mobile ticketing also makes it slim and fast. apart from that, there will probably be no FCFS before the draw anyway all in theory of course, we all saw the problems FIFA had in qatar, on some days issues were huge. I would prefer good old fashioned paper tickets anyway
**Please don't remind us of the nightmare of Qatar, I still have nightmares and cold sweats just thinking of that ticketing app. Fingers crossed, lessons were learnt from that debacle***
Just a quick question to some of you here who have bought Euro tickets previously and on what has improved now, this time around, for the upcoming Euro 24: 1) Bots seems to be rampat for prominent events. Are there measures done by FIFA/Germany to overcome this? 2) Are the chances of obtaining tickets here more difficult then the recent FIFA World Cup? 3) Any strategies/inputs on how to best get the tickets? I know a lot of it are based on luck, but what strategies that you have used that actually increase your chances?
Too early to answer these questions my friend especially when we don't even know how the process will work. We can only speculate no lottery draw but a fcfs due to time constraints. Am sure bots will be in full force if the WC experience is anything to go by.
Time constraints? UEFA were pretty quick with their turnaround for the Club Finals ticket sales ballots so there's definitely enough time from October 3rd to do initial "blind" sales in a ballot for a few weeks, then payment windows for successful applications, then some lucky invitations to buy the remainder of the unpaid ballot tickets (or alternatively an FCFS), all well before the qualification groups finish in mid-November and the group stage draw in December. Or do you mean for the three playoff winners in March 2024? Still enough time for their supporters later and wouldn't/shouldn't impact the first round of ticketing at all.
That's the thing though from past experiences, it's never just a few weeks is it btwn sales lol. Again your guess is as good as mine though. Hopefully UEFA won't use interns like FIFA does to run the website (jk)
Anyone have experience getting tickets without being a member of a fan organization for a participating country?
The ticket application phase opens on October 3rd for the general public and you can apply for individual game tickets then.
Just noticed that the hospitality tickets are already on sale? https://www.2024-hospitality.com/en/global/hospitality-packages/overview
for some associations yes, for the others not, it depends how it is structured. FA for an example requires certain number of caps, the others might require a membership or citizenship/address in the participating country, while some do not ask for anything. you have to differ between general sale and fan sale for participating teams, taking part in both certainly increases the chances of scoring the ticket
It might be a little more popular this time due to the tournament being closer, but for the last few tournaments you just sign up for their free email subscription and you eventually get a code to buy tickets. Same with Portugal.
Thanks for letting me know. What would then be a better bet in respect to registering for a team base and getting the tickets?
