Cuevas came off in a triple switch in the 59'. The US had a PK in the 51st that could have tied it, but they missed. Soon after the triple subs happened.

Match finished 0-0, Cuevas played the entire match.

 

Not a real surprise from the LA Galaxy side of things as they needed to make some moves due to their transfer ban this upcoming summer. They have struggled this season in a very large way. Is Cuevas the answer here? I know that in the second half of the season he established himself as a pretty useful player and consistent starter.



The three in a row where he was not in the Squad dealt with a US U20 Call-up. I hope that this moves works out for him, he is moving from a pretty stable club (not necessarily the top) to one that is still one of the major US clubs, but one that is a mess right now.

I think that his first European foray has been pretty successful. I would imagine it will not be his last.
