It's odd - seemed like they were ready to launch this but now I don't see any sign of it anywhere. The designer said it's based loosely on SJ graffiti style.

Just my two cents from an old Eastside guy...the vibe, marketing campaign and design are a big whiff...you can't manufacture, buy or sell street vibe...you either have it or you don't.

 

Maybe that's why we haven't heard anything about it in a while. I like just the "SJ" lettering but the other stuff not as much (there's a full "SJ Earthquakes" too, not shown in that post). But then again, I'm not the target audience .

Japantown hipster boutiques sell funky takes on local pro sports brands but rarely if ever Quakes. Maybe part of the problem.
