Jim Crane gave Mark Berman a little more insight into his land-use plan.

Also not directly PNC Stadium-related, but just outside on the doorstep, METRO released a video of the proposed Inner Katy fyover bus rapid transit route. Appears there's a station on St E, near what's currently Lofts at the Ballpark.

My understanding is St. E is set to act somewhat as a feeder road for the highway in this stretch, with the cap park on the west side.

Yes, you either have to go up a set of narrow stairs to go up and over the club or go from inside, to outside, to back inside to go around the club. As this is such a rare engineering concept for stadiums, very little folks will actually "intuit" that this is what they need to do. Proper signage would help. Not to mention, you have to cross through the throng of folks that are coming into the stadium from the new gate that is directly in the middle of the "walk way".

When it rains or when it's 10000 degrees (like every other day) it will be madness trying to travel up and over the club via the stairs.

Yeah, they had signage for the last game after having none for the opener, but it was grossly insufficient. They probably need someone directing traffic for now.

TBF, it will rarely, if ever, be any hotter in the shade of the Stadium than inside the Stadium. Not like the concourse has any cooling or ventilation.

to each his own i guess. As some one who sits on the East side, I can attest that there is a world of difference between being in the shade or not. We have people in my section actually cheering when the shade from the roof moves over them during games!

That is what I am saying. The outdoor path is always in the shade from mid-afternoon on. Your walking in the shadow of the stadium.
