Hopefully every team we play in the Mundial plays like Youth Murcia.

lol, if the US managed a score like that, people here would be saying they're winning the WC

It will be very interesting to see if Duran gets called up for the World Cup.
Lorenzo may just want him to focus on the friendlies in June and the September Qualifiers. Aston Villa may not want him playing too may minutes outside of club football due to injury risks too.

But Cardenas is probably really, really lobbying for him to play in this thing. (And who can blame him.)

Should have known this was coming when the largest Muslim country in the world does not even acknowledge the existence of one of the qualified countries.

In the FIFA forum there has been a rumor posted of it being relocated to Argentina.

Would be great for South American teams and for us time zone wise not having to wake up in the middle of the night.

That said, I do not like the idea of Argentina getting an automatic host bid when teams like Ecuador and Paraguay deserve it more.

yeah, during the Colombia game, commentary was talking about the situation and I didn't buy into it at the time, shows what I know about politics.

Argentina and Qatar is what they said on the stream but considering it's coming from colombian journalists, I don't believe them very much at all.

I wonder what the basis is for selection, I guess the ability to set up really really quickly I suppose. Argentina getting it would be really jacked up, they didn't even make it to the 2nd stage of qualifying so for them to get a spot wouldn't be right.

Back doored themselves into this tournament. Feel bad for Paraguay and Ecuador.

At least we can watch the matches at a decent time now.

The team they sent to the Sudamericano won't win it.
That said, I am sure there are some great euro based players that did not play in those qualifiers that could help them make a run.
    So you never know.

Let's look at the bright side.

It will feel more glorious when Yaser scores a hat-trick on them and we win 5-0 in the Monumental.
