Match day team of the day: Hiebert first team, Carnell coach: https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/team-of-the-matchday-atlanta-united-lafc-st-louis-city-own-the-moment
Miguel Perez, high school kid playing with the pros. I like his game, he’s not overwhelmed, he’s energetic, and he has some bite in his game. Like what I see and hope for more in the future for team and country.

He said maybe. Which made the national team manager very mad and I get it. Just take a test and find out for sure. Not sure why it is a big secret.
The team said he took a test and the team notified the national manager of the result. It sounds like a whole lot of posturing on both sides. Meanwhile, how is Blom doing????? That's the more important issue, and neither side is giving any information.
I'm not sure what we would be trying to pull though? I thought about that too but Blom has missed two games for us already. The frustrating thing is nobody being clear on what the issue with Blom is.
Heads-up: Congrats to the Manitoba native and #AllForCITY center back Kyle Hiebert who earned his first call up to the #CANMNT! Good luck this week vs Curaçao and Honduras, eh 🇨🇦 pic.twitter.com/oES9jL76HW— St Louis CITY SC (@stlCITYsc) March 21, 2023
Hiebert news but also this: Hiebert’s absence could further test City SC’s depth at the center back position. The team is without Joakim Nilsson, who was expected to anchor the backline, until at least May because of knee surgery. https://www.stltoday.com/sports/soc...cle_0ffde270-af4a-56ad-a451-5586e387ca43.html
It's also where Glad is his most dangerous. This match comes down to whether we can stop Glad (and keep him from laying off to a trailing Kreilach) or outscore him. He's deadly inside the 18, and RSL hasn't allowed more than 2 goals yet.

Blom out for 5-6 weeks.... https://www.stltoday.com/sports/soc...cle_66d5f714-385f-5d11-ba0a-d5548bab66b1.html
Here's the phrase that really hit: "Carnell said Blom’s left leg got caught in the turf while he was battling with Roldan for the ball and he fell awkwardly, immediately clutching the inside of his left leg." I absolutely hate that fuzzy concrete in Seattle. I've watched far too many players go down on that field over the years. That was my fear going into the match. That's not a knock on the Sounders organization, players, or fans. They deserve better than the turf they have to play on.
