Well, we didn't lose. Credit the club for fighting back while a man down off of what was soft 2nd yellow against Felipe. Republic were the better squad but we need to handle high pressure better. Even while Felipe was still in we made too many mistakes against pressure in the back. Love Cicerone. Good on the ball, rocket of a leg and seems to keep his head up and keep his options open rather than be a shot-taker first. Back-line looks solid again. Everyone has a bad day at work from time-to-time but that center ref, wow. Awful day. Hope not to see him again. A good game spoiled.
Yes, good thing that red card was rescinded. Couldn't make the match, unfortunately. I'm eagerly awaiting games in which we score more than a single goal.
Nagle to purchase Huddersfield Town AFC of EFL-Championship, soon to be relegated to EFL League One if the current standings hold. Color me not impressed. Not sure how much dough is changing hands, but I'm of the opinion that Mr. Nagle's time and attention should better be paid here, with the concentration on getting a replacement for CalExpo. But at least he'll bring some solid experience in leading a team in a fruitless effort to gain promotion to the highest league in the land.
According to the Bee, Rodrigo Lopez suffered a complete tear of rectus tendon and that, "his return this season is in doubt." Ouch
