Not to sound like a fanatic, but I honestly think Whitmer doesn't get as much coverage as DeSantis for many reasons. One of them being that she's a woman. She had to deal with armed pyschos during Covid, the whole kidnapping plot, and of course the various tirades Trump directed towards her. Along with the various comments that a one Mike Shirkey made (Look up his farewell speech, it's something).

And will say that unlike DeSantis, she has a personality. Get called "That Woman from Michigan" by Trump, she goes on TV wearing a shirt that says it verbatim. She's low key funny (See her shark week comment or her fix the damn roads) and just doesn't care about culture war crap.

It was like 4 days ago here. We also had a windstorm for the ages. One property I manage got hit by a tree while hitting the neighbor's house with their tree and another property I manage had part of a roof blown off, so fun Monday ahead!!
