Partey played 90', Ramsdale didn't play at all, Jorginho played 69'.

I watched most of the second half. His sub was definitely to go more defensive and hold the lead. He looked fine. Bellingham, however, seemed to be limping a bit when he subbed off at the same time as Saka.

Hey, you ended up answering my main question! Just not directly to me. ;)

To sum up (for me and anyone else who hasn't been following this sordid story in fine detail): 1 of the 2 original rape complaints is still standing, and now it's been joined by a 3rd complaint, recently revealed. So that makes 2 open complaints at this time, which will probably be tabled until summer? (that last bit is my presumption, based on some other things I've heard, but it could certainly be wrong)

Because todays article in the Guardian was much clearer, enabling him to answer both his questions and yours.

I found and just read the Guardian piece. I put that news source in a different category to the Mail, Sun, Mirror et al. ;) Here's that link for whomever wants to read it:

    https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...id-allegations-investigated-for-third-offence

Even if this one is better written, it's still kind of confusing with the various complaints, various dates, and the articles aren't written in a chronological fashion.

And then there's this bit, which is still just slightly confusing:

"In late July the force confirmed it would take no further action regarding the June 2021 allegation. It was not pursued because the relevant legislation had not yet come into effect at the time it was said to have occurred. Investigations into the two further allegations have continued and are now joined by the latest case."

Are they saying that the one complaint which they decided not to pursue back in July, is now back on the table because of "relevant legislation" being now in effect? If so, then my summary above is incorrect: there are the original 2 complaints, plus the newest complaint, makes all 3 complaints still open.

Yikes. This doesn't look promising for the player or their club. Seems to me that because of the importance of said player, the MTA just did the club a bit of a favor by bailing him until July 2023, thus allowing the club to decide to keep using them in what might just be a massively important and historic season.

But one that's going to have a bit of a stain on it, because of all this rape stuff. And I'm not trying to play the seriousness of that down at all. If it goes the way we think it might, even with "innocent until proven guilty", I may have a bit of a problem not feeling bad about how the club handled the situation.

In July there were two allegations of rape on two different occasions by one woman and one allegation by another, one of the two complaints by the first woman was dropped and remains dropped, so this new allegation by a different woman makes three complaints, by three different women.

Haaland held out of Norway's qualifiers this break, nursing a groin injury. Would have been nice to see him in the lineup with MO8 but Spain won 3-0 today.

Of course he'll be healthy enough to feature against Liverpool.

Yeah, Ødegaard should have a ‘groin injury’ right now, also.

Hopefully he doesn’t have an ankle injury now Rodri tried to break his leg.

Just watched the highlights, including the limited coverage of that tackle on Odegaard. I honestly didn’t notice him popping up in the rest of the highlights, so I’m wondering if anybody who watched it can say whether he looked impaired or relatively fine after that shameless incident.

How was that not a straight red and pen?

Was there no VAR in that game?

It seems that the only purpose is VAR now is to disallow offside goals that back in the day would have stood as they used to give the advantage to the attacking team ..

That’s all changed now especially as defenders can simply clatter into the forwards without even getting a warning

When we play City next, I wouldn't be opposed to Xhaka getting his first red of the year trying to break Rodri in half in the last 2-3 min.

Nah, he's too valuable (those are words I'd never thought I'd string together two seasons ago). Send a sub on we can afford to miss.

That looked intentional to me. Rodri hesitated, saw who it was, then carried out his assault.

Late in the match when Arsenal are up 3-0.
