Wow, that is some incredible, ridiculous stretch. Well done. Disagree that Halle-Selassie is really flipping good, but I hope he is.
He's been surprisingly good thus far. Granted, my bar is low. Thought he was likely a depth piece. Also, I think he has positional versatility. I'd try him at fullback (for the frog). Gotta keep Guti in when Shaq comes back.
Shout out to Heitz and Peltzer for finding Dean and starting to mine the USL vein. Dean's another guy who I reckoned was a pure depth piece. He's played well and has positional versatilty. Good ID work.
Looking back at the last goal... Casas was the start of the play. Working hard, with fresh legs, he won a 50/50 ball, carried into the middle, found Guti out wide and played the line breaking pass. This MLS Assist is likely his best play, or most impactful play, for the first team thus far. Also of note was the shape of the team...it looked like a set play/pattern/counter from a 4-3-3 with Kei - Mueller - Guti across the top. Guti and Mueller immediately under/overlapped confusing the MIA marking and left space for Kei on the opposite side. Bottom line, cool to see to Academy kids execute when it mattered and a 'grandpa' providing the finishing expertise we have been sorely missing. P.S. MIA was lucky that DAA missed a sitter and Burkes became a pylon on the corner they tied us.

With 3 of our main guys out, another (GG) clearly hobbled, we had enough depth to get a road win. Past seasons, no way we'd pull that off. Hats off to Heitz/Peltzer for upgrading our depth. If we can get healthy and add a difference maker 9, we can be good.
Przybylko with a key pass on the second goal. Teran’s first shot blocked but the second went in. I’m not sure how a pass like that is tracked.
