I followed the Cal Bears soccer program from 2009-2018 with Kevin Grimes as coach. David Bingham in my opinion was an exceptional GK for his age group. I never understood why both the Quakes and the Galaxy released him but knowing Bingham, I think it had more to do with his attitude as opposed to the way he was playing. I also saw Jonathan Klinsmann at Cal and even though he was a good goalkeeper in college, he never was in my opinion the player Bingham was despite having a famous father. Jonathan had a good save yesterday but Bingham seems to still be the better GK. I’m glad he is back and hope his hamstring injury isn't too serious.
That had to be the worst match I've ever seen NYCFC involved in; including 2015. A veritable cure for insomnia. oy
