I dont really think they were unlucky. They did absolutely nothing the entire second half besides the 90th minute stuff.

The Leafs are an embarrassment to Canada

Biden (their second favourite hero after Trudeau) pretty much called them a joke in front of parliament.

    Go Oilers

Oilers are also ab embarrassment to Canada. Pretty much every team that isn't Montreal is an embarrassment.

Any team that hasn't won the cup over the year of 1979 is a joke and should not be taken seriously (aside from the Canucks & Sharks)

The 80's are when the cup became way more difficult to win.

I think the Canadiens have won two cups since then. I don't mind that team i just find their fans extremely annoying especially since i can't understand them (even when they try and speak English). I don't understand what people are doing when they STILL choose to speak French in this country.

In my opiniao, the Oilers are the greatest Canadian team in history. Despite being one of our rivals, i think the Canucks were the greatest Canadian team to never win the cup. Their team in the early to mid 2000's was consistent and solid. I think the Sharks are the greatest American team to never win. They managed to be competitive for so many years in a row, just like the Canucks.

Eastern Canada is a joke and is massively overrated when it comes to hockey. Their teams mostly won when people didn't even know what the sport of hockey was. The Canadian media is obsessed with them. Don't fall for it.

I excluded the Sharks because they are in a category of embarrassment all on their own. The Timo Meier trade also solidified that.

They had no reason to trade him. That was ridiculous.

Oilers are rumored to be the frontrunners for Karlsson in the summer. WIll he trade him to a divisional rival? I hope so. :)

He's got to be one of the worst GM's ever.

Yeah I know he is useless in defence but offensively he is having a great year on a rebuilding team.

Just imagine him with C97 and The German.

Oilers are an embarrassment. They have the greatest player to ever play the game and cannot even mount a serious challlenge

Yeah, I guess we are alot like Portugal. I will never forgive the national team for losing that tournament last year.

Oilers had a depth problem and bad goaltending last year and still made the conference finals. It’s been fixed. Our depth has won lots of games this year and we have a homegrown goalie that made the all star game in his first full season.

The last time the Leafs won a playoff series, smartphones did not even exist.

With the Oilers having both the best player and the second best player in the world, the cup is inevitable.

Racism is alive and well with Sportinguistas.

Demanding payment from a black male after causing him irreversible trauma that potentially may have intergenerational impacts. This should not be surprising from a team who voted in BDC (the Portuguese Donald Trump).

A real team like Benfica would not beg for payment, and would write the money off as reparations.

Garbage game. Porto should have scored the 3rd and put these cry babies away earlier.

I was watching this on Benfica TV and these Benfica D rider commentators are an absolute joke. They see things that aren't real. I felt like I was watching the X-Files.

Also, I heard Porto fans but no such images exist on BTV crap feed:D

Really ? Cry babies lol . You do see the irony don’t you ? Lol l Welcome back . Been a while .
Anyway, just not good enough . Shit defending by our Centre backs . Porto played desperate soccer and Benfica did not respond strong enough on counter attacks . We were simply too careful . Congrats Porto . Next…..

Porto was desperate but they didn't play desperate soccer - they played with garra. As they always do.

They have a different mentality when it comes to these games and frankly, I admire the attitude. Benfica was the undisputed colossal of Portuguese football for decades and PDC came in, instilled the garra mindset, and since then Porto has overtaken Benfica in their historical head-to-head record and has won more European trophies than Benfica.

That's ridiculously impressive. Doesn't matter if they're having a shitty year or not, they always show up to win the Classico.

And it's that attitude that was the deciding factor today.

So yea, I respect Porto. A lot.

Sporting sucks tho. If they didn't provide us with Figo and CR7 I'd rank them level with Braga.

That's generous. We're way worse than Braga.

No offense but I'm actually glad Porto exists because if Sporting was still Benfica's main rival then they'd probably be competing in the Conference League.
