This is why I want Klopp, he'd be able to stand up to Florentino and force his hand more than anyone, since hes a Galactico himself and the most charismatic guy from the lot.

The reason clubs like Madrid and Barca work the way they do is the reason he signed for Liverpool.

He sounds like Wenger did. Never fancied the job no matter how much Florentino charmed him.

We absolutely washed his team, last convincing Klopp outing against Madrid was with Dortmund.

Of all the managers who led their teams in at least 10 Clasicos, Carlo Ancelotti has the highest losing rate: 12 matches. 7 losses.

I'd say that he's much more likely to go, than stay, as things currently stand. We're going to have a new manager this summer.

I'd love Xabi to come and manage us, but I feel it's a season (or two) too early for him to make the jump. I'm not convinced by Raul and his leadership style. Tuchel for a season or two could be a solution.

Carlo is an absolute legend and I will always cherish last season and La Decima as two of the best CL campaign's of my lifetime.

But these quotes really aren't helpful. It gives me vibes of Lopetegui saying he was going to Madrid after the World Cup while he was coaching Spain. It's almost like we should let him go sooner rather than later if he has one foot out the door already.

Carlo clearly came in as a stop gap, after Perez was left flat-footed on a new manager when Zizou packed his bags. The fact that he will do no more than two seasons shouldn't be a surprise to any Real Madrid fan.

Meh at the same time Carlo said if we want him for 5 years he will enjoy 5 years with us.

Teams can sack managers in a day it has nothing to do with loyalty not to mention Carlo has given us loyalty and great success. But he also is not a child. He knows how Real Madrid is. He knows he can be sacked any day and then why not go to Brazil?

He gave us La Decima and the most epic ucl run maybe ever. I wish he stays next year as well but if he doesn't he has forever won me over and I consider him one of our Legends.

I wouldn't call getting bailed out by Courtois and receiving a gift from Karius the other time "absolutely washed his team", but you always had a penchant for misrepresentations.

One would think we didn’t beat them 6-2

One would think one would know this is the end of Liverpool's cycle with Klopp, otherwise we wouldn't even be discussing him as an option...

Sadly because I’m sure the 4th time he’d beat us in the CL

We played Liverpool 6 times in Klopp era and didn't lose a single game. Won 5 and drew once. Hendrix will have excuses for each of those, I guess. :D

I'd rather believe that was the reason, than believe that the reason was because Klopp is shit coach.

I wonder what if fans would be more willing to accept a coach that:

    A. Guarantees at least a major silverware per season, but can't beat Barca.

    B. Owns Barca and their grandchilden but only wins one trophy max every two years.

If that was not the implication, then I don't understand the point of saying we absolutely washed his team.

The implication is that his football has it's limits, and takes a lot of time to put together. We've seen him take years to build two teams that peaked and declined at about a similar trajectory.

I think we know what we're getting from Klopp and it's not something we're looking for.

Klopp is a bad fit for us but I confess I can’t help myself and I’d be interested to see what it’d look like. Been a long time since we were a good pressing team and we probably have some good pieces for making that style work.

Vini Jr confirms that any coach would like to coach Brazil and Ancelotti would like to do the same. Welp, I guess Carlo's doing the smart thing and lining up his next job already. I guess Florentino should get more serious about finding his replacement by end of the season. He needs to call Zidane asap.

It's odd because I expected Carlo to stay professional and setup Real Madrid to defend the league. But things have not been the same for our team since the Brazil job became available after the WC.

I'll say it: I don't want Zidane anywhere near the next RM coaching job. Time to move forward.

Isn't this the case with every manager?

    Klopp is an attacking manager.
