I'm always down for some ZZ and every match day that goes by Xabi Alonso keeps impressing me. But I also don't find this concern with Nagelsmann to be a huge problem. So maybe he had beef with Muller and Lewandowski. Would it be so bad if he came and ruffled the feathers of our old guard?

    Look at the success stories:
He clearly made Leipzig push way above their weight, getting them to a CL semi final and boosting the market value of their youth players enormously.

At Bayern, he's developed Musiala to become one of the best players in the world. He's got Davies playing at a world class level. He's got Goretzka and Kimmich playing at a level that they can completely boss the PSG midfield. He's got the likes of De Ligt, who was struggling at Juventus, keeping back to back clean sheets against Mbappe and co. He's made Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting a serviceable replacement for Lewandowski. They bullied this year’s Barcelona twice as well.

I think he would be an asset in our pursuit of Bellingham as well. Perhaps Frimpong as well.

I'd rather have Nagelsmann or Xabi Alonso.
I don't want Zidane until Modric, Kroos, Benzema and Carvajal are gone.
We need new ideas and Zidane would make us play cross and pray from Carvajal's shit crosses to a 36yo at that time finished Benzema who wouldn't even be in the box.

8/47 cross success rate against Barcelona under Ancelotti.

Let’s not act as if we never played good football under ZZ.

Yeah, bringing someone who has no friendship with older players would be ideal. The last one who had the balls to do something different was Solari.

Tuchel has Guardiolas number, he's gone to Bayern to knock out City.

I don't see Xabi leaving Leverkusen just months after joining them. I think he's patient enough and too classy to jump the ship so soon after they gave him a job offer when he was with Real Sociedad B team.

Tbh, I don't think Nagel did anything especially impressive at Bayern. RM gets knocked out by Villarreal like Bayern last season and the entire forum would have turned on the coach.

They got outplayed at El Madrigal as well and were lucky to get away with 1-0 loss. Kimmich, Goretzka, Davies etc were already balling under Flick. If ZZ is interested, I'd go for him.

Also given the dirty politics Graet played against ZZ and how PSG were leaking through the media last summer that he won't get France NT job if he snubs PSG to wait for them, I don't want ZZ to end up at that hellhole club.

Get him back to the club of his life. ZZ is well aware of the politics between PSG and French FA as well. Juve is a mess off the pitch so his options are limited.

Julian Nagelsmann's (maybe ex now) girlfriend is reportedly leaving her role as a reporter at Bild newspaper at the end of the month, with her job causing a 'lack of trust' in Bayern Munich's dressing room

Last summer Nagelsmann split up with his wife Verena after 15 years together and it emerged he was dating Lena Wurzenberger.

    Lots of drama at Bayern.

Great ball from Tchouameni to assist Mbappe. With a white jersey too :whistling:

Pretty decent stopgap option until Perez stops playing it coy and decides to go all in after Haland or Mbappe.

I have lost interest in the national team scene because the reality is the team's aren't that good outside of a handful.

This French generation is so good that God was merciful enough to give them that idiot Deschamps. How the fck are Rabiot and Griezmann playing over Camavinga?

Zidane should be top choice, and by a wide margin. This team is shaped by him to a great extent, particularly the midfield. Only question is if he and JAS can find the middle ground.

After that, Xabi would be second choice. Don’t think he cares very much how long he’s been there, particularly if Florentino is calling. Then JN or Poch. Raul shouldn’t be an option but JAS may want a yes man in this role so who knows.

To be honest I have lost a lot of interest watching the sport this season. We are tedious and tiresome to watch. It's not enjoyable. It's a painful chore.

It's only the CL matches that I get excited about because the officiating will be better than La Liga and we will actually play with intensity to put on a good match

Yeah, same. That's why I'm hoping for Xabi or Nagelsmann to bring some excitement.
Zidane's ideas are stale, boring and one dimensional. Kinda like Carlo.
We have no identity as a team and that's largely shaped by Carlo and ZZ.

We need a change in personnel. Doesn't matter who managing if next season out starting team is still Modric, Kroos, Carvajal, Mendy... and if Benzema is still broken (he probably is finished as a player).

Even with that the officiating nonsense has really killed my desire to watch La Liga.

Nagelsmann shouldn't be anywhere near a job as big as the Real Madrid bench. As things stand he failed at Bayern.
