Thankfully they weren't put off by the faulty speaker system at SGP. Official England U15 debut v Belgium🦁🦁🦁 pic.twitter.com/zVEXR5v5bp— Nick McPartland (@NickMcPartland1) February 12, 2023
I’m guessing the announcer probably couldn’t hear the lads singing otherwise I think he made a balls up there and should have waited until they had finished to make the apology.
Anyone know the story with Gomes? Seems he qualifies for Ecuador and Portugal and could be a precarious dual going forward.
He was born in Venezuela, moved to England in 2018. From what I can tell he had some family already living over here but I don't know if he's eligible through them or not.
Thanks. I think if he does qualify for us, unless he's ready to get in the senior squad at a young age it's likely that he'll play for his home country. Like with Sarmiento and Ecuador, they'll be offering him senior status early doors and South Americans tend to be very patriotic.
The Secret Scout has posted a video he's been sent by the parents of a 10 year old at Chelsea who looks pretty brilliant. Anyone know anything about him? I'm guessing that he's English.
I don't know anything about this boy, but next year is the year we might see Kai Rooney-Man Utd. And I also heard of a boy called Heze Grimwade from Chelsea!
I don't know anything about qualities, bar the fact he looks excellent but the Heze Grimwade's parents are huge self publicisist - they are a YouTube/Instagram family who do everything on there including home schooling etc. Had a short lived Channel 5 programme in the mornings called "Go Green with the Grimwades" and one of his Uncles or Second Cousins is in JLS the boy band. This isn't to say he isn't good, because the bits I've seen of him he looks amazing, but he will have a publicity machine behind him like no other kid in youth football currently
I did find this footage of him on YouTube, looks very skilful. Not really interested in the who’s better debate but anyone know much about the other kid, think Tekkerz who plays for Birmingham?
His name is Lorenzo Greer. I'm not sure but I think he was also born in 2009. We might see him next year in the U15 team
Heze Grimwade sounds Dutch? The kid SS posted about today looks better than all those players in the video. I don’t want to post the clip because of his age, even though SS says his parents asked him to post it, which I think is a bad sign.
Worth mentioning that those clips were all against very weak opposition (teams from Latvia, Lithuania, Finland & Moldova). Several years down the line and he might turn out to be very good, who knows, but the level there isn't very high & Chelsea walked that tournament.
