Valid point. I was assuming everything would be resolved by summer

I thought he might play on 2/15 because he was included in the pictures of the team arriving. Which I tried to post to the match day thread but couldn't and will try again here. He wasn't late to the stadium.

Nah man, that’s an old picture.

Partey arrived late to the stadium.

He trained with the team before the City match too. I really believe he thought he would play until something happened that prevented it.

I'm not sure if they've worn the French connection outfits on multiple gamedays but Partey is wearing it in the video above and in the team arrival pictures. He was alone in the team arrival pictures but that is not unusual.

So did he train with the team, get interrogated, dress like the rest of the team, and then not show up late enough to be in team arrival pics posted over an hour before the match?

Bloody Rodri took that opportunity to hack Odegard down and leave him in a heap

That got me worried, so I looked up the stats. Odegaard played a full 90. So I guess that means that the tackle you cite didn't really cause serious harm? And feel free to share more about how he faired on the night in general.

    Fared.

Fairly anonymous. Norway are bad…outside Øde and Haaland (who isn’t there), obviously.

If true, Balogun seems like a lot of drama.

Americans trying to decapitate him on ever challenge

Not to mention the bags of urine he might get thrown on him.

Nonetheless and FWIW Tim Stillman says he looks set to sign for USA. :sneaky:

Earlier today this was my daydream...

The biggest chant this year is arguably "We've got Super Mik Arteta..." And if we keep singing that next season (who knows) and if KT leaves this summer as is speculated, then they're gonna have to change the words a bit.

So who would replace the "Tierney" reference? Well "Saliba" might work, and it would keep the youth movement motif. But then I thought maybe it should be Big Gabi.

Then we'd end up with the new line: "Gabi at the back, Gabi in attack, Arsenal on the way to..." :whistling:

New Tifo IRL Arsenal video about our defending.

TL;dr since the World Cup we are conceding a lot more set piece goals and conceding a lot less goals from teams who build up from deep for reasons explained in the video.

The video does mention Feb where we had a bad drop off, including the Partey injury and replacing him with Jorginho.
What isn't mentioned that we lost a certain pressing forward named Jesus who was crucial to the way we scored goals but also how we would press and defend.
