Talent isn’t the issue at ALL. It is clear like Grimm said that FITNESS is the issue. Our players don’t last past the hour mark on the INT games. I can’t even imagine how they’d do at higher level football such as Europe or Asia leagues (some). And then physicality? Let’s not even go there lol

We used to be a lively bunch in this forum back then…

Anywho it’s been a while so here a few updates.

Danny Rios has moved from Houston Dynamo II to Las Vegas Lights (seems to be the dumping ground as of late) hopefully he does well. The fact they have to share the field with the XFL team will make the conditions not ideal…

Brenda Ceren scored for Atlas as they defeated Cruz Azul 1-0.

Meanwhile the journey abroad for Victoria Meza ends for now. It’s understandable in her case because waiting to not only turn 18 also make a spot is wasting time as U20 quals and senior tourneys are on the horizon.

Meanwhile another talent has been discovered.
German Fuentes who plays for Athlone Town AFC in Ireland’s second division. Most important note is that he is a right back something we need badly.

Last week Alex Roldan had himself a game named MOTM for providing two assist as Seattle defeated Real Salt Lake. So far Christian Martinez and Eric have been doing well in CR. Climaco has been moved around in different positions and has been thriving at least that’s what Selecta Talent has been saying. But with good comes bad Enrico has been bench fodder lately First it was mentioned injury let’s hope it’s just a case of him getting back in shape but if this lingers oof.

Catching up so expect a lengthy post.

Enrico finally received playing time and provided the assist as Cartagena B came back and took the game 2-1 over Mar Menor. The next match date ended in 2-2 draw against Recreativo Huelva he wasn't listed naturally since he had to travel.

Both Gil brothers have been providing small boost to their respective clubs.
Mayer has come in as a super sub of sorts, against Deportivo Pasto he came on an scored a brace, then against Union Magdalena he provided the assist on the game winner. They did fall against America de Cali right before coming over to join the team he’s been coming in at around the 55th minute in all these encounters. Brayan Gil has been a steady starter outside of one game (due to receiving a red) the goals haven’t come in but here’s hoping it starts up soon.

Tomas Granitto has been trying to solidify the starting spot at All Boys rumors were out saying was going to be called up but opted out due to what I stated. He’s been starting the last few games many are questioning how these guys are looking much better than what was shown in the local league.

Nelson Bonilla has been struggling which has been a common theme after that first stint in Thailand were he was scoring plenty of goals. They’ve lost three out of the last four (other result was a draw) and has provided very little I assume his run with the NT is all but over especially if the Gil brothers all play.

Joshua Perez scored for his club against Vis Pesaro. They fell the next game against Imolese, currently Aquila is last on the table and trying to fight out of direct relegation and at least make the relegation playoffs.
1635815972048183298 is not a valid tweet id

The biggest shocker is Vikingur falling at home to Valur with a super late goal sending them packing. Punyed has been a starter for most of the games so hopefully he’s ready for the league I still believe he should be called up for veteran experience.

Brenda Ceren scored a really nice goal to rescue a point against Pumas. I hope more of our girls get looked at by Mexican clubs. As for Andrea I have no clue whatsoever if she’s still with the club or not I haven’t seen much of anything in all honesty.

Karen Reyes played 60 minutes and provided an assist but sadly Necaxa fell to Tijuana, she has been a fringe starter.

Stephanie was a sub and came in the 60th minute as Queretaro played to a 1-1 draw against Puebla.

Christian Martinez is moving to Cartaginés for the next season which is pretty big since they will be participating in the Centro American Cup. Meanwhile for Erick his contact will be bought out and he will look elsewhere, he was put most of the year with an injury.

Menjivar feels like he’s being F’d around.

So it looked like Atlanta United was interested and nothing really materialized. Today it comes out Saprissa was also interested but those talks ended once another player became available.

    I think
I think they rather take their chances with someone with abroad experience and more national team experience. It seems their offer to the Honduran player is already out there.

I also read somewhere I think it was El Pajaro Picon Picon that Chalatenango claims they didn't receive any offers but Channel 4 claims they received a call from Saprissa to see how to get in touch with Chalatenango's team owner(s). If that's true I wouldn't be surprised. Clubs in El Salvador want to hold onto their players or they ask for a unrealistic amount.

Supposedly Atlanta wanted to get in touch with Chalatenango ownership and weren’t able to. I saw that from Pájaro a few days ago, so if true and the Saprissa story hold up ownership are the ones screwing him around.

I’ll be posting a somewhat revised list to reflect the changes that have taken place in the last couple of months.

    Here’s a few updates

*Nelson has moved from Chiangrai United to Sukhothai FC where his journey began in Thailand.

*Mark Lester Blanco is back in El Salvador ending his journey for the foreseeable future. He says he still wants to make the jump abroad, why others aren’t that ambitious is quite sad.

*Tomas Granitto ends his time in Argentina with a year left on his deal. They agreed to terminate and he’s headed to Águila. He hadn’t been playing for the last several months so it was inevitable.

*German Fuentes is officially on the list since he has received a call up.

Samaria Gomez now plays in Israel. The club she has joined is Bnot Netanya they play in the Ligat Nashim Rishona.

*Joshua Perez has joined the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

*Dennis Pineda is back in Portugal, he has joined C.D. Rabo de Peixe they play in the Portuguese 4th division.
