    DCU 1-2-1 vs. NER 3-1-0

NE has played some of the lesser eastern conference teams and won while getting posterized by LAFC.
DC has played some of the mid table eastern conference teams and only beat Toronto while drawing with Orlando and losing to NYCFC and Columbus.

NE can be beaten by fast technical teams. DC is not a fast team and their technical skills are still in development.

Who takes it? Whose cuisine reigns supreme?

Who drew the lot for late game heroics this week?

Canouse wins it late with a shot that goes in off a deflection.

Hard to figure NE so far this year, what with the blowout to LAFC but yet the stingy defense in their other three games. They ought to be feeling the absence of Gil and Borrero.
Still not sure how DCU is going to get the offense going, short of Taxi's return. Hopefully Benteke, Ted, Klich, et al can all get some more chemistry going.

This is a well coached New England team with good talent I think. I've been saying that I see us as a team in the mix for a playoff spot in spite of all the talking heads calling us a spoon contender. A good showing here goes a long way toward validating my positive feelings. I am going to call it 2-2.

A slow start like last week at NYC might not turn out like last week's game and could be a harbinger of a long season.

DC ties in stoppage, because that's what we do if we're lucky.

I have no idea what NE looks or plays like since I have not had a chance to hear them on the radio yet :)

Okay I just read Ross' post so I am changing my goal #s to not look like a copycat :D , but can we score that many goals inside EagleBank? Maybe I should have subtracted 1 instead

I saw NE get their asses kicked in person. They looked like trash. Not sure if that was an aberration but they were essentially 11 strangers.

It is our field, we could alter the dimensions of the goal a bit... You know like other teams do against us... How they change them at the half is very impressive...

Williams questionable, Pálsson on international duty, Hines-Ike and Akimboni out, I'm guessing we field Birnbaum and Pines... I just hope own goal doesn't make an appearance...

I'm guessing our midfield is going to be Ku-Dipietro, Klich, Canouse, and Durkin. Jeahze and Greene at outside backs. Question is if Benteke plays with Robertha or OTC?

Good to see Fountas upgraded to questionable on the injury report.

But I wouldn't put him in on a cold field too soon.

Right now Revs are a better team than DC United. They’re not a great team must better. Bruce has coached this team for several years, and knows them. The rematch in Boston will be different game. Our best hope is a sloppy wet game .

True. Convey was "wide", Albright was "high and wide".

Wish I could watch this on TV without haveing a Apple in front of it.

First 8 minutes is among the worst DC has played this year

You can't keep possession if you can't pass.

15 minutes and it would be generous to say DC has had a minute of decent possession in that time
