Following up on a post on the Detective Work thread, I can confirm that the '05 Bora Aydinlik (sometimes written as "Aydınlık" but I wrote it the other way to make it easier to find in search) was born in Miami. I know others have spotted and posted about him here and there but there wasn't a thread and I was able to get firsthand confirmation of his birthplace.

He's listed on the club's U16s but apparently has attracted some attention for playing up, at least as high as the U19s, and perhaps also some training at higher levels. T'Markt notes some TYNT callups.

This Turkish article is worth a translate as it gets into his life story in detail, as well as his playing style:

This somewhat-recent article suggests interest from Belgium.

Oh, and he seems to be something of a Football Manager legend.

Also, it turns out that if you let Google translate a page of Turkish names, some of the results are quite remarkable. It makes me wish I had a Turkish name so I could tell unsuspecting people what it meant!

So that makes at least three guys with some degree of American connection at Hull, right? With him, Hall and Covil?
