Koki Saito made his debut yesterday, coming off the bench in the 86th minute with his team leading 3-2. Despite his limited time on the pitch he was lively, he was involved in 5 plays, his teammates ostensibly have confidence in him as they did not hesitate to pass the ball to him. In his first play he intercepted an opponents' attack. He recieved passes from his teammates in the next 3 plays, getting tackled in two of them to stop him from dribbling further, and muscled off the ball by the CB in the other when he would have a 1-on-1 against the opponents' GK. In his final play he played as a decoy running inside the opponents' penalty area, only for his teammate -who was running on the right wing- to shot the ball past the GK to secure a 4-2 win for Lommel. Encouraging debut for Koki Saito, and it seems there will be a huge room for fun for Koki Saito in the Belgian second division.
