Of course the thread is popular, he's the most expensive transfer in the history of the club and he didn't only not match expectations, he barely even got to set any.
He was absolutely awful against part time football players in the Copa del Rey. That should have been the final wake up call.
He was terrible in that game but its happened often before to many of our players in the CdR against supercharged minnows. Its one game. He was okayish in the beginning of the season, when he played a bit more and was probably in better game rhythm than after the benching. Its an exaggeration based on emotions to say hes not good enough for any level. IMO if he played in Brazil he'd be one of the better players. Yes in my mind I am stuck with the Chelsea version of Hazard. Thats why I believe his level is Lazio or Lille. Because I believe Chelsea is on the same level as Lille. Its like people don't even think anymore.
If by physical you mean dirty then yes. If by physical you mean fast paced and high energy, hell no. This is Hazard's problem, and as a central attacking midfielder he would thrive there. Ronaldinho destroyed the Brazilian league solely with technique, and he wasn't even an athlete at that point anymore. Either way you can try to nitpick and what not, doesn't make the argument about Hazard not being able to play at a lower level than the top one any less retarded. That simply does not happen at this level of the game, regardless of your simplifying fantasies.
Hazard could do nothing against a Segunda B team. The Brazilian league's level has been on the rise for years now. Isco was supposed to join a Brazilian team and people were questioning if he would make any impact at all, given his form. Now imagine Hazard.
Forget about anywhere. He is injured most of the time. Me being healthy is more useful than him who could not even dress for a Sunday league game. I could at least walk around the field for 20 seconds without the ball on my side of the field. He could not even do that.
🗣️ Toni Kroos: “Maybe I have no mercy for Hazard but he doesn’t have a bad life or is having a bad time.” @ElevenBeNL #rmalive— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) March 19, 2023 ️ Toni Kroos assures that he does not feel sorry for anyone in football: “You can feel sorry for people who have a much worse time.” @ElevenBeNL #rmalive
what’s next? How about Benidorm or Marbella to get a tan, few cans of lager and hang with the the other x-pats.
Let me ask since we know the issue of players who aren't as great in practice or gym and how it shows later. Does Kaka count here?
In the twitter preview you can't see their faces. I thought Hazard was the overweight chef until I clicked on it.
At this point if he would play on the right I would throw him out there just to see if it could create some kind of spark. You guys can go ahead an bash me for that. I deserve it.
I’ve thought the same tbh, push him to braking point in training and hope something happens on the field maybe from the right side.
